Why is it arbitrarily limited to the Top 15 players?

why do you draw the line at top 15 player?

what if someone is the 16th best player of all time and he never won a ring, but then he has a great season which bumps him into the top 15 (but gets knocked out of the second round). does that mean he won a championship that year?
Someone else brought up 15. I just continued with it.

Just use Top 5 at every position.

Any of those dudes that DON'T have a ring, are we honestly going to BLAME them for it?

Or are we going to use logic and admit that the entire team just didn't perform as well as their opponents?

Because the one man is the leader of the team.  You act as if some of these players are playing with hobos.  I would argue that Lebron has as much talent around him, if not more, than the Warriors, but he uses that talent inefficiently due to the way he plays.
Yeah I am going to stop you right there pal.  The Warriors have three top 15 players on their team and the Cavs have one.

Before Lebron went to the Warriors, I would say a lot of people considered Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving top 15 players.

I'm not discounting the warriors players at all either.  I'm just saying the talent is there, it isnt the Warriors fault they use it and the Cavs dont.

Seriously. Dudes are trippin that the Cavs are more talented than the Warriors. :lol

Dudes expecting Bron to singlehandedly beat the best team ever, you can't make this **** up.

Yea, what can I do when someone makes statements like this

Stop it. NOBODY considered Kyrie ANYWHERE near top 15 and i'm a HUGE Kyrie fan.

The only one making dumb claims like this are Lebron haters so they can say he's playing with such top talent the same way they act like JR Smith is this GREAT player now whereas when JR was on the Knicks dude was acting like he was worst than Sebastian Telfair.

Sure you can. If you are a Top 15 player of all time and just wasn't fortunate enough to play on a team that was good enough to win a ring. You can still get that label.

But all the top 15 players of all time have rings lol this list is as per espn if it was me kobe would be number 2 lol

Last 15

11: Oscar Robinson
12. Kobe Bryant
13. Jerry West
14. Julius Erving
15. Moses Malone

Top 10

All-Time #NBArank 10: Hakeem Olajuwon

All-Time #NBArank 9: Shaquille O'Neal

All-Time #NBArank 8: Tim Duncan

All-Time #NBArank 7: Bill Russell

All-Time #NBArank 6: Larry Bird

Top 5

All-Time #NBArank 5: Wilt Chamberlain

All-Time #NBArank 4: Magic Johnson

All-Time #NBArank 3: LeBron James

All-Time #NBArank 2: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

All-Time #NBArank 1: Michael Jordan

But to add to your point AI has no rings and people in VA(757) think hes the best basketball player to ever step foot on the hardwood lol.

bron not good enough to play on the warriors fam.

Are you going to argue that the talent isn't there?

Was Kevin Love not a 25 and 12 player before he went to the Cavs?

Was Kyrie not a 20 and 6 player before lebron got there?

Is Tristian Thompson not a good rebounder?

This is niketalk man, people make up and say the dumbest things ever to hate on someone, or some team. You just have to sit back and laugh because it as if some people here do not think logical at all.
This is the most frustrating thing I deal with when it comes to discussing basketball.

The media tells us that we are to blame single players for a team's success/failures.

But from coaching/playing basketball, we know that is SO far from the truth.

I just hate the disconnect.

Repped for so much truth.

in 95% of playoff series if a team's top 2-3 players outplay the other team's top 2-3 players the team will win.

its how it is and it's how it always has been

That's fine, maybe he was, maybe he wasn't.  Regardless, people act like Lebron doesn't have one of the most talented teams in the league around him.  That couldn't be further from the truth.

At some point when you have a really good team around you, you have to take blame for your team's shortcomings as the leader.

Show me one post where someone said that the expect Bron to singlehandedly beat the Warriors this year.  I'll wait.

Keep moving the goalposts bro.
Dude JUST said that LeBron has more talent than GSW around him right?

let me start off by saying i'd be shocked if the Cavs pull this one off.

their offense is HORRIBLE to me, but it works for them (in the East, i know)

*sigh*
i hate it for them.
i want them all to win (GSW, OKC, SAS, LAC, and CLE) but someone has to win, someone has to lose.

i DO expect to see the Cavs steal one of the first 2 games at GS tho.

....then lose both at home LOL, going into game 5 down 3-1?

and i cant see them winning again in GS, so am i predicting GS to win 4-1?

is CLE really going to get SLAUGHTERED like that? jesus.

damn, LeBron gon catch it this year foreal.

id love to see him pull it off
it just dont look good.

hopefully in wrong and it goes 7 games down to the last few shots.

If the other dudes don't come to play, why is that dude getting blamed?

I am still not seeing the logic here

Because if the other dudes aren't coming to play because you stuck a 26 and 12 PF in the corner and told him to shoot threes all game then that is your ******* fault.

Never said they don't have talent. YOU are the one making silly claims that they are more talented than the Warriors which is only something a hater would say. Warriors definitely have more talent top to bottom.

Yeah, those two BOTH had those numbers and where'd that get them? Ooooh that's right....sitting at home watching the playoffs. Also, even WITH those numbers, wasn't NONE of y'all saying Kyrie was top 15 anything but all of a sudden since Lebron is their teammate, you want to big them up to be better than they are. :{ Again, I can tell the way you talking you were the same type to dismiss Shump and JR Smith but now that they are on Lebron's team, one is a defensive stopper and the other is this great player that can score with the best of them.

game 1 is over 24 hours away and people are already coming up with excuses for when bron loses
