I truly think the best thing to Gsw was Okc pushing them to the brink...Battle tested for finals..Cavs had lesser Toronto team primed for sweep and let them win 2...That screams inconsistent play no killer instinct..We are talking Toronto here with injuries..Kevin love has shrinkage every other game and when adversity hits JR hot/cold guys are finger pointing..Dwade, Allen, bosh ain't walking thru the door..

Ready for when the Cavs are down 2-0 and Bron starts doing all that weird **** he was doing during the season.

Anyone who can't readily admit that last year's finals team was a bunch of reserves vs. a well-put-together team, you're just hating. Period.

Like that question should be one of the prerequisite questions to determine whether you're a hater or truly unbiased.

Last year's Finals was like watching a sheep being led to slaughter. Yes, the 'needs more help' line gets tired, but it absolutely applies to last year. C'mon.

I think I specifically referred to people talking about the Heat didn't I?  I could have been wrong and am too lazy to look it up.  I don't think anyone is saying the lebron not having help argument was invalid last year.  We all know 2 of their top 3 players were out.

You mean getting coaches fired?:lol

Na, Lue is safe. :lol

I mean that passive aggressive ********, before ****** sat him down and talked to him.

Let the Cavs get smashed in this series, I bet Love is gone in the summer.

cavs maxed out on effort with that squad. the fact that they won 2 gms was amazing. without kyrie/love they had their best defensive lineup and that gave them a puncher's chance. kyrie gonna be food on defensive end. not sure how you hide him. put him on iggy/barnes?

Except it didn't come out until after they lost 3 straight. When they were up 2-1, that wasn't the narrative. Steph was getting "locked up by Delly" and Bron was doing whatever he wanted, Tristan Thompson was "earning" a max deal with his defense and rebounding, and Mosgov was beasting. Wasn't until after that the help thing came up, as it does every single time Bron loses, as it definitely will for sure happen this time as well.

I feel like people who where talking about TT getting a max deal and Delly locking up Steph was nothing more than post game hot takes that shouldn't be taken seriously, so I wouldn't use that as a reason to not acknowledged that that was a depleted squad. When that Cavs team was up 2-1 with that squad they had left was over achieving and in the long run it wasn't expected to hold up, then the better team came back and won the series.

Clevelands D is alot more solid than OKCs was.
Is it fair to say Lebron will be the best defensive player on the floor?

These two posts made me laugh.
Why..stat wise Cleveland is ranked 4th this post season..My team OKC was ranked 9th..Holding opponents to 94pts per game while OKC holds theirs to 101pts per game. Stats dont lie bruh..jus saying.

Exactly what I was going to post.  But I am a Warriors fan, so you will probably accuse me of being biased.

thread is pathetic...trying to predict what is going to be said about lebron when he loses...wow...new low

No one was complaining that kyrie and love were out when Cleveland won 2 straight to go up 2-1. You're right all the talk was delly locking up the mvp, moz and tt dominating the paint, and the self appointed king being an untouchable God.

I'm a well documented Bron hater so it'll probably be dismissed as well, but hey it is what it is.

please no one thought the cavs were gonna win... the warriors were gonna start hitting shots and when they did it was over

So, we're totally going to forget how OKC completely changed their offensive and defensive philosophies this post season, which led to them making this run and pushing GS down 1-3 in a series?

Yeah, stats tell you the whole story :lol

This is absolutely false. I'm not going to look for the thread right now, but there were a sizable contingent that had the Cavs winning that series after going up 2-1. Even FF was ready to unload his manifesto.

It's just insane to me man.  The narrative changed during and after the Finals last year.  Kyrie being out was a blessing for the Cavs because it allowed Delly to lock up Curry for 2 games....and IMO was the reason the Cavs won those 2 games.

Having Love and Kyrie out there and taking out 2 of their better defenders against a team like the Warriors is NOT a recipe for success....regardless of how much Cavs and Bron fans want to say it would have been.

Warriors would have won in 5 or swept the Cavs last year if Kyrie took Delly's minutes.
