I always knew Pippen was underpaid..but compared to today..it’s crazy to think what these players make..

this documentary is fire. first off loved that ESPN allowed the curses. I thought was dope and gave it a "real" factor
2nd man Pippen was severly under paid for what he did and his rank in the NBA at that time.
Jerry should have paid the man 3-4 years into his contract before knowing he would have wanted more to avoid that problem

documentary makes me long for the days when the signature players wore the shoes that Nike put out. something beautiful and simple that MJ wore the HGG for home games the white/red for road games and then the black playoffs for home and black/red for road. loved that style instead of Lebron wearing 145000 different color ways

CBA....different times. Timing is everything, even today. It’s how Evan turner or Allen crabbe can make 18 mil a year with the revenue bump in 2016...and two years later....better players can’t scrape 10 mil a year.

That’s my point.
That's BEFORE the game, once the balled tip'd, Magic and Zeke were out for blood.
The point is, friendships didn't get in the way of on-court rivalries. That's why there have been very few REAL rivalries in recent NBA history, these kids don't know how to turn off friendship after the tips.
Jordan and Ewing were great friends... OFF THE COURT.
