^ personally, i'd go with office since it's more accepted around the way.

but, i dont know if iwork is compatible with office documents. if it is, then idk!

^^ if your a student and your university runs off of Office when doing a presentation or what not... 100% get Office.

If you just an average joe who uses word processing and just prints your papers.. iWork is where its at.

It all comes down to what and where your using it. but IMO iWork has sexier features.

so i had leopard and my computer crashed and the apple store reset my computer to tiger.

is there anyway for me to get the info off of my external hd even though i used time machine to back it up and even though i don't have leopard anymorebecause i lost the disc

has anyone else had a problem with dockulicious? I drag the zip files to the program like it says, then it says it will relaunch the dock but nothing happens.

The new memory is expensive right now. I found 4 gb for 139.99 for the new macbook the other day. When it comes down some more, I will make the upgrade.

Macsales.com ... I'm about to get 4GB of RAM for my "Santa Rosa" model MacBook for $70

Barely any chance. Apple just released ver. 2.2 a couple days ago. I want an aluminum Macbook.

I haven't really changed anything in almost a year but I will contribute anyway. The one thing I have changed is my iPods so my 80GB Classic (The Batpod)and my 4GB Nano (Wee Brain) are the bottom right

I just upgraded my MacBook RAM from 1gb to 4gb. So far, there's nearly no lag at all when I open my applications.

Installation was extremely easy. In fact, the manual that the MacBook comes with actually gives you step by step instructions on how to install the RAM. Ifyou're planning on adding additional RAM, installation should not be a factor at all IMO. It took me no more than 5 minutes, literally.

The brand that I purchased was Corsair. Here's the link:
AppleMacBook 4GB Ram - Corsair

Only $48.00 after the rebate.

Get it while the rebate is still intactand while supplies last.
