Made the trade for the Macbook Air for my 2011 15". I have a newer mac that has handoff capabilities and no more ticking time bomb 
come up IMO. The macbook air has a dent but so did my macbook pro.
I will take the more updated features, plus weight and battery life trade off.

thinking about selling my macbook air 2014 and getting the new one with retina. don't really need a macbook pro but i heard the weight between the two is negligible. like the diff between ipad air and ipad. lolMade the trade for the Macbook Air for my 2011 15". Is the 11 inch screen really that much of a hindrance? I've never used an 11 inch screen before, smallest I've ever gone is 13.

The air seems like the perfect device. Like I don't know if I would need to go any smaller haha. Though that new macbook is nice.

not sure but I have the 13-in and have no problems. Don't think the 11-in would be that bad.

I dont. I made the trade and couldn't be any happier. Especially since I got that MBP for SUPER cheap, but originally wanted the MBA

Didnt peep that. But still is that something I should be looking for spec wise?
Long as you're not gaming or doing heavy editing that requires graphics cards and multiple cores I think that's the perfect laptop tbh.

mind you i watch pr0n a lot and never got a virus... so i will continue to support mac and never go back to pc

Impulse bought a 2015 13" Air from BB for 733 out the door. Was this a good buy? Never had a Mac product before, will the have the crazy longevity that everyone speaks of when referring to apple products?

Great deal IMO. out of every laptop I've owned, my favorite is the MBA 13. Ive had the pro in both 15 and 13 with the 15 being fully loaded. Have the surface pro 3, and had numerous dell XPS and lenovo think pads. Prefer the 13 MBA

I wouldn't buy a third party charger because Apple has never licensed out the Magsafe tech for anyone else to do it, so I'd be very wary of someone selling a charger they claim works. If you're a student or work for any half decent sized company, look into logging in the education store or via whatever site your job uses to get web benefits, it won't save too much, but it'll be cheaper than paying full price.

This macbook is pretty fire outside of the weak spacebar missing its touches periodically. I see a thread regarding the issue on apple's forum. anybody have this issue before? What would be my best course of action, replace it at best buy or take it into the apple store?
