I'm also wondering about cleaning or protecting the beethoven's - I have no problems with my regular flyknit kicks, but considering there's fuse there with the flyknit, anyone have any tips or suggestions?

I used the Timberland Balmproofer All Purpose Protector.

In fact, I use it on all my sneakers.

I never worry about shoes getting dirty till they are actually dirty.
Mr clean magic eraser works wonders on soles and Jason Markk takes care of the rest.

Nike failed to launch anything this weekend despite being a multi billion dollar company, EXT's sold out at the online retailers who had them. MP's restocked pretty much everywhere. Unfortunately they could not be added to cart, creating mass frustration, and much saltiness. 

Personally just waiting to score the China's and for my EXT to ship.

 said the manager blocked him from purchasing. In this thread he's mad that he passed. I'm curious to see what he did to bypass the manager and her "policy". Might be worth knowing down the road when I encounter BS at an outlet.

To be completely honest, this couldn't possibly be any further from the truth. I walked in said hey to her and BSd with her like I always do cuz she's cool and is not a sneaker collector or reseller. She's district manager.. What good is risking a career for reselling a shoe to make a few bucks? She told me "hey a guy returned some kobes to me yesterday, black and white... are they the 8? I don't know" so I asked her just to see them. She didn't know what they were, she just knew corporate told her to return them. She isn't shady by any means of the word at all. Why would she even bring them up if her intentions were of flipping them? C'mon bro (flipping comments to who ever mentioned that previously)

Guess I shouldn't have shed light on the situation and the potential new Nike policy.

Returned new releases have to be sent back to Nike instead of putting it out on the floor for sale. So far I've only heard it indirectly from @skep  at the outlet he frequents. Have to wait and see if this policy is from a single person with an agenda (the manager) or worldwide.

The theme for that event was to put a modern spin on formal wear.

I believe Tyson Beckford wore a red camo tux.

Seeing as how Jason Sudekis is an actual sneakerhead and every real sneakerhead knows that the XI was inspired and created for formal wear, I think it was a cool move.

If I were him I wouldn't care what a bunch of guys on a message board who can't get a date and dress off the footlocker mannequin think either.
