whats the tracklist or the deluxe edition

The same as the regular one bruh. But the Deluxe version is the one with the window so that the cover can be swapped out, and it comes with the Runaway DVD.

College Dropout had the hits, but he had some pretty wack rhymes in a few of those tracks, and it was just sort of rough around the edges...

So rumor is the track being released tonight is titled "Whoopty Doo" Feat. Sean & CyHi.

The beat, the hook, majority of Kanye's verses...pretty much the whole song is just flat out awful

I don't know about awful but it does sound wierd. Charlie Willson is okay on it but the hook does sound out of place. That's just not a beat i'd expect to hear from Kanye. It definately pales in comparison to the rest of the album and with the production team behind it and the guests on the song I think people expected more. I know I did. When I first heard that that was when I came to the conclusion okay Good Friday tracks are just throwaways that aren't gonna be on the album. Glad I was wrong about that.

Same for me.  That > Runaway.

I think Good Friday is the feel good song, should of used that instead of See Me Now, but I don't hate the song, and I

As for substance, there is none. Maybe im missing something but ye is constantly mentioning something about
dealings with the devil
,
his promiscious relations with many women and how perfect and imperfect he is at the same time. Nikki minaj def didnt help this album and i think she might be schizophrenic and that dude Ross stays talking about material possesions in order to avoid touching upon his weight problem. But back to kanye....
I dont understand how anyone can say that this is even kanye's best record let alone the GAOAT

Yup, he is fulfilling his side of the deal...homage

Just brilliant.  Paying his respects but at the same time, proclaiming himself as the new iconic musician like MJ.  I personally think this is his best album; best album of the decade?

^ How can you predict that it's gonna be the best out of the albums released the next 9 years? Of this year? It's up there.

I'm sure he means the PAST ten years.

I still think he's crazy either way.

.  his album is extremely impressive though.  That's why I put a ? at it being the best of the decade, but I would never say that myself cuz there are a bunch of quality albums out there that I haven't even heard yet.

THANK YOU.

Chris Rock is cool and all, but after hearing that *@$# a few times, I skip the track as soon as he comes on.

- Dark Fantasy is fire. Only complaint is that when you minus the a cappella, the song is only 1:07 - 3:57. Way too short for such a hot beat. I enjoy a nice build up (Weezy, Let The Beat Build for instance). But I wish DF either started quicker or had a much shorter a cappella at the end. (Or let the beat ride all the way out w/no a cappella at the end). Oh, and the Urkel/Winslow line makes me chuckle every time.

- Gorgeous is a nice track. Not a standout for me. But definitely not skippable by any means. Ye actually squeezed 3 full verses in PLUS Rae's and yet it still doesn't feel like the track drags on.

- POWER is a fantastic track. Everyone is already familiar.

- All Of The Lights is mesmerizing. Interlude is the perfect length. And like everyone else has said, I like trying to catch everybody's voice. Despite the subpar verses (only 1 and 1/2!), this is a standout track. I didn't mind Fergie or Cudi as much as some others seemed to. They were fine. But Alicia's part is my favorite.

- Monster is a banger to me. Surprised that so many people hate it. This is the track that rocks my speakers the most in the car. Everyone has at least one quotable in the song. But Nicki clearly owns this track.

- So Appalled reminds me of some ol' Mobb Deep Hell On Earth type music. Haunting + gritty. Hov killed, Push killed, but Cy Hi came w/that awkward Matt Leinart line. I appreciate the randomness of the Rza on here. And Swizz is alright w/me. So this track is good in my book.

- Devil In A New Dress was probably the GOOD Friday track that I enjoyed the most from the moment I first heard it. Ross ruined it for me though. As others have pointed out, his verse has NOTHING to do w/the song. I hate when rappers jump on a track that has a specific theme and then start spittin about something the complete opposite. I made a copy and chopped Rick's verse off right at the 4 minute mark. Yes, I still have the Ross version included on my album version. But the Ross-less copy is for my own personal playlist.

- Runaway drags on way too long for my personal liking. I like the track, but by the time the 7 minute mark rolls around, I'm like WTH Ye? This song has an 808s vibe to it. Which isn't a bad thing cuz unlike most of you, I actually loved 808s. Chop this down to 6 mins and I'm loving it. 9 minutes though is pushing it. If a track is gonna be that long, gimme a story like Last Call from CD or let it have some lyrics most of the way through like Joe Budden on 10 minutes.

- Hell Of A Life is sick. The only song other than POWER that has no guest feature. (I'm glad someone called a lot of you out on that earlier in the thread... Complaining about rappers like Game and Drake always name-dropping or using features, but quiet as kept when Ye does it). I like how he played with the beat after the 4 min mark.

- Blame Game is bananas. I love it. But as mentioned earlier, the Chris Rock part should have definitely been a separate skit. Similar to how Dre broke up all the comedy skits on 2001. Rock is funny. But after a few listens, that *@$# obviously won't be as funny as compared to the first couple of times you heard it. Imagine Jake Steed's Pause for Porno attached to "Some LA Zaggin". Blame Game is yet another song that I have to edit/chop (right after Ye says "I heard the whole thing"). Ye got lazy or didn't think it through entirely. Cuz that transition is very easy to do.

- Lost In The World is a nice track to close the album on. And the transition to Who Will Survive In America is exactly what he should have done on Blame Game.

Overall, this album is sick despite my nitpicking. People are saying it's short. And at 11 tracks (minus the bonus cuts), it definitely is. But the album still clocks in at a solid hour and 6 mins. By reading my mini-review, you can already tell I would have preferred that he shorten a couple of the tracks just a tad and add 2 more songs (not bonuses!) to the final version.

Kanye's done a great job promoting this album but what has Def Jam done? i'm actually worried he won't even sell 400,000 with the lack of promotion from them.
