$30/gram isn't too bad. Essentially paying around $650 for craftsmanship of the bracelet + the cost of the metal on the 96g joint. (14k is ~$23/g roughly)

97g, 14k bracelet from Daniel jewelry is around $3800.. Like $1500 for craftsmanship :eek
 
$30 a gram is probably the best price right now. I'd consider buying at 25 a gram, but probably not until $20 a gram for 14k gold which will not happen for the foreseeable future.

How negotiable is price per gram when haggling with any jeweler? I'm just not sure how much they can bend on pricing... I mean I'm sure your shopping experience with that jeweler factors in, meaning you would probably get a better deal than someone walking off the street, I just wonder how much. In these situations I would just show up with cash and try to play hardball...
