The sole wasn't changed. The shoe is the Flightposite Exposed with a zipper thrown on. The reason Nike continues to do this is because people don't care about quality products. They just buy what everyone else is trying to keep up and look cool. You do realize the negative views are being expressed in a attempt to point out how Nike isn't giving us their best products and maybe enough people will start to demand better and force change or Nike themselves would see this and do better on their own. End of the day we want better retros for us all. That includes you.

You obviously don't have any issue with this retro so I don't see how "complaining" would bother you at all. Your already good. I can't imagine how the world would be if everyone just accepts things they don't like without complaint. How would anything change?

honestly, after seeing these in person yesterday i copped 2 pairs. yeah, i don't like the changes as much as the next person, but it was NOT enough to prevent me from buying. at the register i pulled the shoes out to inspect the sole and it really isn't THAT noticeable. i personally think the medial outsole change is a much worse offense than the cf print.
this is always said, but i'm pretty sure ppl will regret passing on these when it's all said & done. also, at least to my knowledge, these didn't last the whole day. they were very limited, with not much demand, but they sold out everywhere here in bmore.

I can confirm they weren't limited at all. I'm in PG County and there sitting still. The KD 6 meteorology was more limited than these. If these aren't a GR idk what is.

well, what i recently have come to understand is that pg is ahead of us as far as shoe sales for nike. that's why if there's ever a question of supply, pg hoh will get it before mondawmin even tho mondawmin is the highest volume hoh in the state of md (we have like 4 or 5 HOHs). that's why pg was the 1st in md to get an HOH.
most stores in bmore didn't even get these and the stores that did only had 1 or 2 FSRs. this shoe was definitely limited, but like i said earlier, the demand wasn't there and i can only attribute that to the changes considering this is arguably THE most coveted FP of them all.

I got my shipping confirmation from ndc yesterday so I should have these in hand by weds. Then I get to determine whether they go back or not.

on another note, i think it's cool that some like and some don't. isn't that what makes life so great? everyone is different and has their own opinions and feelings. it's not a good thing usually imo when EVERYONE is either on one side or the other. our differences in looks, opinions, feelings, etc are the spice of life imo.
lastly, those who like the shoe should not let others' opinions affect how u feel. i completely get that most of the OGs don't like this shoe bc of the ridiculous amounts of anticipation only to be let down. so with the changes it's fully expected that ppl will bash them and with good reason. but when i pulled out at he register to inspect i realized that on feet the changes wouldn't be too noticeable and i KNEW i'd regret it if i passed.
so now my strategy if there's any questions, especially for anything remotely limited, is cop now and figure the rest out later.

That's true. We do get massive amounts of Posites in the county. I can tell you this, to see this Posite sitting here being all black and a retro of a long awaited classic, maybe the changes and talk about them has had a effect. I can literally walk across the street right now and grab a few pair easily. Not the norm for sure.

I made a valid point and you clearly avoided my last question because you know your say nothing view doesn't work or apply. Again I ask if people want better retros, how does a person go about getting them without complaint? If you don't care as you claim and your happy about your purchase why are you so keen on people shutting up about how wack IMO they are? Others have purchased and haven't put up half the fight you have but you don't care though right...lol. Nike still makes quality products just not quality retros.

The best complaint to nike is the lack of sales. As long as the product sells then nike won't listen. The no zip concept flopped therefore they decided to give us something we wanted so bad that we could forgive the changes.
I'm sure if the no zips were a success, we may have not seen the carbon or h20.
Unfortunately, I can't say I'm 100% willing to forgo the carbons. I can openly say that.
