Where can I watch college baseball on tv? I feel like its never on til the postseason.

There's not really anywhere to watch games until then, toddzo. A lot of times the school's athletics website will have a stream. Or check out CBSCollege Sports.

And how good is Riley Cooper from UF?
D'vo didn't play last season, but he was pretty solid in 2007. He hit over .350 with a slugging percentage of roughly .500. He started like 25+ games at CF as a freshman. He's on the roster again this season, and has started three out of four games in RF, batting .400.

Riley Cooper was decent last year. He only hit a little over .200 during the season, but showed some pretty good potential during regionals.
Bet.

Many think that he won't be playing FB (D'vo) anymore b/c he's gonna get drafted in the 1st/2nd round.

He sat out last season b/c of his academics.

It's hard for me to follow College Baseball b/c it's rarely, if ever on TV and when it is it isn't advertised.

Yea, it's tough to find the games on TV. They usually come on Fox Sports Network, which I never really watch...

And I just realized that when CBS bought out CSTV they axed the college baseball coverage

So no more streams through there like you used to be able to get...

Edit: You can still get streams through CBS, but you have to subscribe to the XXL service, which is $120 a year. So in other words...no streams

There are some free streams through CBS XXL, but a good portion of 'em are for subscribers only.

Several schools in the SEC are opening new and/or renovated stadiums: LSU, South Carolina, and Ole Miss, I believe. It's amazing what this league puts intoits college baseball programs.

I don't follow college baseball as closely as basketball or football, but I do know that we (Mississippi State) are picked dead last in the SEC this year.Ron Polk finally stepped aside, so we have a new coach (John Cohen... MSU alumni and former Kentucky coach). Should be an interesting year.

Some schools have feeds for baseball on their websites. I know OSU does this and I found out last weekend that Tennessee does also.

I'll hopefully be at the home opener for the Ducks on Friday.

%%++#$ weather may beg to differ though

bump because I'm going to the Oregon vs Fresno State game in like 5 minutes

How the hell did you guys beat Fresno State? Thats what i want to know!

The Houston College Classic hasn't disappointed yet. There have been a couple of good games already (UCLA vs. Rice went 10 innings last night, Houston vs.Baylor was a good, close game, UCLA vs. Baylor starts here in a little bit). There are also a handful of really good series and tournaments around the nationthis weekend.

A&M smashed UC Irvine yesterday, 9-2

Eh, it's early in the year and Cal State Fullerton is a consensus top 10 team this year. I'm gonna start posting a composite poll withrankings from each of the four major polls (Baseball America, Collegiate Baseball, National Collegiate Baseball Writers' Association, ESPN/USA Today) nextweek, which is just an overall ranking based on the averages of the four polls.

Yeah,we are only 2-3, I feel as if someone on this team needs to step up, because the starting pitching has been crud so far.I think as the seasongoes along, the sophmores will begin to play better, and the big time freshman pitchers will be used. How's A&M doing?

Beat UC Irvine 9-2 yesterday, and play Rice tonight...this could be a big weekend for us if we win tonight and beat Houston tomorrow...

That's college baseball for you, you can beat the top team and then get a let down against a horrible team. I see you guys in the cws this year, I dont seeany teams except for texas competing with you in the big 12.

The Big XII South this year is pretty damn loaded. Texas A&M, Texas, Baylor, Oklahoma State, and Oklahoma are all top 25 teams, with Texas Tech lookingpretty impressive early. I think it's gonna be a really close race for first, probably coming down to the last weekend of the season (which is the Texasseries).

Thank god I found this thread. College baseball is my second favorite college sport next to football.

My squad, the South Carolina Gamecocks, are now 4-0 after a win against Clemson this afternoon. We've been a Top 5 ballclub the last few years butweren't ranked in the preseason since we lost everyone from last year's HR-happy lineup. 1B Justin Smoak was picked up by the Rangers in the lottery, hopefully he can get some big league time soon.

We opened this season with a three-game sweep of Duquesne at our brand-new 36 million stadium. Sporting News rated it the best college baseball stadium in thenation.

I miss college, going from beautiful weather watching football (and soccer) in the fall, heading inside to watch basketball in the winter to back out for baseball games in the spring. Always was a game to chill and watch live.
After today's 3-1 Gamecocks' win, we've beaten the Clemson Tigers 8-of-9 since 2006. During last season's four-game sweep, weoutscored you guys 10-1, 5-1, 6-1, 7-0.

Here's a few shots of the new stadium taken from various places.

How could anyone forget this. Boy did we have some hitters a few years ago

That's a damn nice looking stadium at South Carolina. A&M recently got approval of something like a $25 million renovation plan. I'm interested tosee how it turns out.

And A&M lost to Rice yet again, 2-0 tonight. They're the only obstacle I see in A&M's way of making to Omaha. Hopefully they can both get SuperRegionals, which should have happened last year had A&M not choked down the stretch...
