Heres to hoping that resellers are on vacation and that toebox irons out ok. Those pendletons came nice, heres some pics of mine.

The color-changing effect is interesting and I can't deny that I might go after them, but why can't Nike just give us a regular, plain OG Blue release?

I think if youre a designer you want to create something new that pays homage to the original. Its their way of being creative and doing their job as a shoe designer.

if i strike out the CX QS 87's via snkrs or SNS i'm gonna ID some USA's w/gum soles to ease the pain.
nike is hurting my pockets lately.......
since early march i've been on a real tear w/nikes.... 2 pairs of AM zero ID's, neon talarai's, 87 & BW big logo's, black, kumquat & fuzzy safaris and now these chameleon joints on friday.....
next month Olympic pack BW's, presto's & Pippins and still holding out hope for OG colorways of zoom spiridons ....
thats over 3k in 2 months solely on nikes, not even counting the random supreme items and all those KAWS uniqlo tee's smdh....my wife is gonna flip **** at my next amex bill
how do you guys handle these situations? i'm pretty well off but we have a 2yr old, 3 cars and a mortgage so i usually just sell off some shoes or hype gear i don't wear anymore or to often to care about but its hard to part w/my stuff at the same time so i generally end up just eating her crap and buying her something to calm her down.....
she uses the "its your sons turn to have cool shoes/gear now not yours anymore" and i have no comeback/argument to counter that line
it's inevitable that i'll buy something else in there as well that will just bump it up to 5k worth of shoes & gear since march.
prior to AM month in march i had been laying low and only copping older releases that i needed replacements of but nike has been dropping banger after banger and i even would've copped all the colorways of those 87 pinnacles if they came in mens sizing(in hindsight its a blessing they didn't cause the 3 pairs of those alone would've run me another 6bill$)
its a rough life lol

I have the same issues except four kids, and it took my wife a while to see how passionate I looked at the hunt. I am lucky as the look I get when I score on some sneaks keeps her somewhat supportive of my little collection, if I can call it one. But in understanding that, I do try to to do my part by not overdoing it. If it does go down like that I usually off something to show her the value ofmy hobby, and buy stuff for the kids. It helps me when I come like a kid at christmas like look, this is what I want. Milking the **** out of every holiday in advance, as it buys me time to off stuff. Good luck on friday.

My donor sole finally came for my sole swap project. Only for one damn sole yo be slightly yellow. Its no biggie, ill just re paint them BUT i wanted a partial refund. Dude straight up said here is $10 on ebay you can still wear them. Cheeky man haha. I think it should be at least $30. I declined that partial refund anyway.

Yeah, the smiles on my kids faces kind of put my life into perspective. To hear them laugh, that to me is really making it. Having people like me for being talented or what I possessed always made me cautious of who I was around until my now wife. My children helped me be the best me I could want for them. Which is what I cherish. But that is only my version of life. And yes I am soft asf when it comes to my girls. And they know it, too.

you a real dude man. keep up the good work. im in the same boat as you as far as dropping a grip goes. i always say to myself, money comes and goes. just have to take a chill pill for a little bit, not because youre spending money, but because you also have other responsibilities to spend money on. to me, its more about knowing i have self control over the fact of not buying sneakers. ima spend the equivalent in car parts or tattoos if im not buying sneakers. take a deep breath, chase after what you really want and let the less desired kicks and apparel slide.

i can buy as much shoes as i want, gladly i didnt make the mistake to get kids or getting married or living together with a chick, i have not the restrictions and the responsebility that some of the guys have in here pfieuw, lucky mei saw what happened to my friends that were married or are living together with a girl, they all became soft and when they wanna buy something nice for their self they need to discuss that with their GF or wife about how to spend their money and **** nah thats not my way of life, aint nobody is going to tell me what i gonna do with my money and how i wanna spent my free time or till how late i wanna stay up and go to bed and sleep, women are only good for 2 things in life, 1 is sex and 2 is doing household chores at home, and believe me for the rest they are just a pain in the ***
this is true. id love to be able to settle down with someone i truly cared about. i did the girlfriend thing all my life. its just not me. i have personal issues and cant hold emotion to a woman for longer than 6 months. i realize this, so its sneakers for me.
