CC said he actually didn't have his best stuff tonight...he gave up 8 hits but also had 8 Ks no walks.
Suzyn remarked about how calm and relaxed A-Rod was...October A-Rod is no more?

The team in general still understands that there are more games to play; everyone was focused and rather "quiet" in the clubhouse.

The off-day tomorrow might help the Twins get focused again...Ron Gardenhire was talking about how this playoff series was a big stage for his team andplayers.

We didn't perform anywhere near our best but I'm expecting that to change on Friday. Asking for a win today, when just 24 hours ago we clinched thedivision in an extra-innings game in Minnesota is a little hard to fathom...

Pitching matchup on Friday:
Blackburn 11-11
Burnett 13-9

Both of them have identical ERAs though....so I believe this is an equal pitching duel.

As of late Blackburn has done very well, especially in the pressure situations he's had to work through the past few weeks. He's not the kind of guythat is scared of pitching on a big stage where everyone is watching either...

This next game is a must-win. Taking one game in NY is what needs to be done if we have any plans of advancing to the next round.

yea, thing about blackburn is that he seems to get into the 6th inning, but then he'll have trouble and end up getting plucked before finishing 6...it willbe key for him to get through 6!

just got back from watching it with friends

everything was great except for some problems with posada catching. I think the most important thing of the night is that AROD started hitting rbi's in thepost season again.

Just got back from the game.

-Stadium started out dead, but with alotta people getting outta work at like 5, and the game starts at 6..It did get packed out though
-Bleachers were wild tonight. I sat in 202.
-The way Swish interacts with the fans is great.
-CC pitched great for us. Couple too many hits, but if he keeps that up, wooooweeee
