interestingTranslucent soles on basketball shoes should never happen. They lose a significant amount of traction from normal rubber out-soles.
That being said this year's Hyperfuse fits a lot better than last year's. I had to return mine though because on the inner sole there's a part where two pieces of hyperfuse meet, and it rubbed my ankles raw. I haven't heard of this happening with anybody else so I might have just been something to do with my feet. But I just returned them and bought the Lebron Soldier 6, which is by far the best basketball shoe I've ever played. Lighter than the Hyperfuse and with a better lock-down and cushioning setup. And they are only about $15 more, which is definitely worth it in my book.
