The NBA Draft Thread

Kangz have a lot of cap space this summer too. Could pay Gallinari or Ibaka or someone like that if they wanted to depending on whoever they end up drafting. Would have a nice little squad.

Wouldn't give Gallo or Ibaka a dollar even if I'm Sac.

Gallo body is washed, he can't play a full season and has peaked as a player.

Ibaka has also peaked as a player and we ain't even really sure how old he is.

Yeah I mean I'm not saying it's exactly what they SHOULD do. They probably should pay a bunch of random dudes some 1+1 contracts or something like that and just have a year of development and get another lotto pick next year if they even own their pick...

Phil gotta get the **** outta here with that Triangle BS, not an adaptive synapse in that mans brain left from all the peyote.

Recent surprises, or at least mild surprises

2016: Brown, Kings Center
2015: Ratsull at 2
2014: Gordon
2013: Bennett
2012: Waiters
2011: Thompson
2009: Kahn!!!

Thon might've been the biggest shocker last year. I saw a bunch of talk about him being a late first at best and possibly even slipping to the 2nd round

Never underestimate the Kings propensity for screwing up a draft!

*whispers* in Vlade's short history in KANGZ GM, he's actually drafted decently well *whispers*

Don't worry buddy. They'll wake up soon enough

Fox shouldn't even be on Philly's draft board. Monk is gonna fall right into their laps.

Yeah I don't like Fox in Philly at all

Depending how the lottery shakes out the Knicks could have their choice of him or DSJr

If Knicks climb into the 3rd spot, you definitely draft Josh with Fultz and Ball off the board right?

You kind of have to unless the Kings offer something like 6th & 8th to move up.

We're in no position to draft for fit

This has to be the first year that I can possibly remember that all the freshmen that came in with big expectations basically all lived up to them and then some. Harry Giles is the only one that didn't live up to his billing but a lot of people weren't even expecting him to play this year cause of his injuries.

Usually there's a few Skals each year where you're like "why the hell was this guy hyped so much?"

Bridges is more of a 3/4 while Randle is a pure 4 (or if you want to tank a small ball 5).

Bridges strikes me more as an athletic PJ Tucker or Matt Barnes.
