The NBA Draft Thread

I really do wonder what Rubio's value would be around the league right now. I wouldn't mind seeing a sign and trade of Conley to the Wolves for Rubio but I'm sure that won't happen.

It's reasonably close between Wall and Lillard but shooting is too important at the PG position. I have to go with Dame.

I love Rubio and unless Zach Lavine figures out how to play basketball I would never want him starting.

Not sure I believe in Dunn's shooting though, I would rather take Murray.

I've been underestimating Murray since he was 16 years old. I think he can play PG. The level of improvement I've seen in his game every year has been crazy.

He's managed to max out his athleticism and looked like expert at coming off screens after doing it for only a year.

Kid is a gym rat of the highest order, I'm willing to bet on him becoming a PG.

If he could play PG he would be better than Dunn strictly because of the shooting, Minny needs that in spades.

Yes I've been on the Murray train all year and see him as a point guard. His value as a 2 drops him in my opinion. I hope a team makes the effort on his ball skills

The way he was leading team canada had me dreaming

Murray's role in the league is as a 2 or a combo guard who can step in and handle the ball at times. He doesn't have the explosion or ability to turn the corner. He's gonna be a guy who is best suited to come off screens with his shooting ability. He performed a lot better when Ullis ran point. He gave Wade Baldwin 33 and that was majority of coming off screens and then still having the ability to make the right passes. That's where he will succeed is at the 2

Yea he's a born scorer, he's shown the ability to make the right pass even if he doesn't have elite court vision.

If Minny drafts and him signs Noah to use as a secondary ball handler I could see it working really well.

Dunn is still very intriguing to me because as he continues to get stronger, he's going to be in Wall/Westbrook/Early Rose range athletically with NBA training.

He's also a pure PG, has that instinctual court vision and is a natural defense with + length for his position. He also finishes very strong around the rim and showed off a variety of different finishes in the lane.

His jumper isn't broken either, I think he could become at least 36-38% from 3.

Him, Wiggins and Towns with Thibs would be a crazy defense in 2 years minimum.

90% sure Curry would've a) turned out to be nothing close to what he is now or b) traded to Denver in the Melo deal
