The MMA Thread: DON'T ASK 4 STREAMS & NO GIFS- Cannonier, Imavov, Reyes, Rosas on NOW

All those punches Gus took from johnson must've took at least a year off his life. That amount of punches would've knocked out 3-4 guys in a row.

DC would thrive as a heavyweight. Idk if he beats Cain but he has a chance.

The only person that thinks Bader can beat DC besides Bader is Ryan Jimmo.

DC and Cain would never fight, that's the one teammate pair I never see fighting. DC was coaching Cain at first too

There's no way DC and Cain fight. But DC has to defend the belt until Jones returns, if he does. He can't act like interim title holders who win the belt then decide they wanna sit out and wait until the champ returns.

Craziest thing I've ever read. Jones is to the UFC what Lebron is to the NBA (minus his out of the cage problems). The Rondy Rousey thing is just a spectacle, no one really is going to start watching MMA because a girl is beating the crap out of other girls. The UFC knows this too.

Well then you must not read much.

DC said he will fight whoever is next, regardless of Jones' situation. I don't think that's a problem for DC, he wants to have an easy title defense against Bader

I don't agree with how only jones can move up and contend. Cormier can move back up in weight and contend at HW again. Besides his bff Cain, he has a good chance of beating all the other guys.

I'm not saying he can't go back up and contend but dude is 36 and just won the LHW championship and the reality is Cain is the the champ and even if he loses it at some point it would be a conflict in interest for Cormier to go back up and vie for a title shot when the two are training partners.

He'd eventually HAVE to change camps, even if the two never agree to fight one another because of their friendship, Cain is not just going to stand around with his **** in his hand taking turns with Cormier as champ.

It just doesn't make any type of real sense. Thus, this is his ceiling, barring of course a change in dynamic between Cain and DC.

Agreed with that logic. Cain aint goin NOWHERE, so DC will never fight Cain for the title

Shame Evans has been hurt and really isn't in any sort of title contention.

Healthy Evans vs Cormier would be an interesting fight to see.

They were supposed to fight in FEB 2014... Rashad aint gonna be back for a while. I envision DC fighting Rashad in 2016  coming off a loss to Jones

I want to see DC v. Page

DC would wash Rampage no doubt.

But the pre fight trolling by Page on DC would be hilarious. DC's jimmies would be in shambles by weigh ins :lol

Yea I wouldn't mind seeing sugar get another title shot that is to say DC still has it when he comes back of course

I wouldn't be surprised if Rashad retires. He seems like he's put away some money, he's coaching, and I'm sure he'll get a FOX gig too. Don't see him competing for the belt, much less holding it. Loved him as a fighter though, especially when he destroyed Chuck and Rampage.

Feel like that JJ fight took his soul.

machida took his soul, he was never the same after that

regardless of his victories afterwards

he just became a safer/smarter fighter

Ya when Machida made him do the stanky leg was one of the top UFC moments ever. I'm sure he see's the replay all the time

People post the pic of the weird face he made when he was knocked out all the time.

i don't know if this has been mentioned in here, but does anybody know what happened to Bispings eye? To me, ever since his last fight it looks like he has a crazy eye. Not poking fun, really curious?
