Nurmagomedov, one of the top contenders in the lightweight division, believes the two of them only call him out when he's unable to fight and, when he returns, Nurmagomedov wants a piece of them. Both of them. On the same card.

"I can fight these guys both same night," Nurmagomedov told Ariel Helwani on Monday's edition of The MMA Hour. "These guys are easy money for me."

"Fans sometimes talk crazy, but it's OK," Nurmagomedov said. "I understand fans are a little bit upset, I'm upset too. I'm not happy. One year, I [don't] fight. This is not good news for me, not good news for fans. I understand this."

AKA head coach Javier Mendez has said that Nurmagomedov came to the gym a few months ago at only 90 percent and perhaps could have used a little more time to recover from surgery. "The Eagle" isn't sure if that's the case, but said he'll exercise more caution in the coming months.

"If you want to win, you need to go crazy," Nurmagomedov said. "MMA every day is a high level, you need to be training hard, to push yourself. MMA all the time has injuries. Next time, I think I train a little bit more smart.

I wonder if his opponents will kick him in his bad if they ever fight.

Interesting that Khabib's story kind of seems to fall in line with what Dana said about AKA a few months back.

Injury was reported about a week later.

Just look at this stupid *** ****, no wonder Cain is always snapping his **** up. I don't know if that Degrasso guy is the head strength trainer but he does train Cain and Javier Mendez, probably more guys too. I don't usually agree with Dana on anything but it does look like some of the guys at AKA are just borderline incompetent.

I don't know how much of Shaub's royalties I believe. I remember him saying he could just do the fighter and kid podcast and that pays way more than him fighting. He said that about the start of 2015 and now he makes 6 figures?

Scott Coker had a huge following since strike force , apparently he treated the fighters great and let them dip out if their contract unlike the this I hear the UFC guys do, I'm not shocked bellator is getting calls from fighters pissed about reebok. I'm a bellator fan 2nd to ufc and would live to see a better playing field with talent form both organization.

My biggest idea would be a Joint ppv card Wsof vs bellator. Like what legacy is doing right now. I'd pay for that

Schaub could be telling the truth. I remember reading something where Sonnen said he's managed by a guy named Mike Roberts who also managers Mendes and a few others. And he said Mendes gets about $100k from sponsors and now he's only gonna get $10k.

Sort of on and off last time I heard blackzill was whipping ***, I'm shocked because all my fav fighters come out of ATT

Imagine back in the day if ufc had tuf of team chute box vs hammer house....god I miss those old pride cards
