dude has been a sloppy mess for a long time. they jus keep trotting his name out there to get bludgeoned... but apparently he got a bag so whatever I guess. Sad but such is a fighters life.

Rosenthal was one of the better refs but I’m assuming he has licensing issues since I don’t think he’s done much reffing since his release.

I mean we had almost 60-year-old Evander Holyfield step into the ring. NBA Player Enes Canter is calling out MJ, Lebron, Nike for being exploitative. But it's just big business. Frank Mir was a human sacrifice for this MMA/Boxing experiment (which was dumb).
Triller, BKFC, Bellator, etc give zero ducks about the welfare of these fighters.
My issue with the UFC...as the premier league...they tend to lean hard on unified rules, governing bodies as a cop out. The refs (besides that one time recently), the gloves, the scoring criteria, the rankings, etc are things they could address to improve the sport. Like we literally using boxing scoring criteria lol.

Welp Japan just closed to all foreign travelers. I'd assume Horiguchi is already in the states in preparation of Friday's fight (not sure where he regularly trains though). Really looking forward to Friday's fight.
The Rizin FF NYE event though was supposed to feature fighters from outside Japan so that appears to be out of the equation now considering they likely won't change the policy in a month so who knows what that card ends up looking like now.

Horiguchi lives out in Florida at ATT so he's good for Friday. Can't wait for the fight. Got him running thru Pettis, possibly by KO.

Surprised he got cut, thought they'd give him a couple more fights at least to see what's left. He had lost five out of his last seven though and maybe the aderall thing was the last straw.
Hope Bellator signs him though as there would be some good scraps for him there at WW or LW.

When did he dome Gillespie? and honestly if not for that kick he would have hardly anything to speak of over 8 years and 18 fights
I was hard on him cuz I foolishly believed he had a lotta promise but now hes aight, jus gotta see him for what he is. probabyl some fun fights to be had at Bellator but maybe PFL or BKFC for him... i could see him competing for the million or making a cpl hundred k a fight to get busted up in BK

He’s trash moved up to ww and was gassed after the first round . In his media interviews he’s calling out khabib and the top guys meanwhile he’s 2-5 in his last 7 . Other then the gillsipei ko he ain’t do nothing last couple years .

When you're racking up L's and making at least almost 100k per fight you're gonna get cut sooner than later

His standup has always been questionable and his wrestling was nullified at 170. He can definitely make noise in Bellator. PFL…is that the tournament Ray Cooper won? Yeah, nah.

Met Kevin Lee briefly at a fan meet at an overseas UFC fight in the past seems like a nice enough guy that you want him to succeed.
Hopefully he moves on to another organisation and does well to keep his fight career going.
