- You can ask anyone at the gym or any other coach Francis unbelievably selfish

‐ (talking to the viewers) I will transfer 10 000 euros to anyone who can find me a video of Francis saying thank you to a coach, his team or a training partner.

- I have coaches at my gym that have been injured holding pads for Francis invested blood and sweat on him and never one word of gratitude

- he's ego got so big he started to try to tell the coaching staff how to train him, not wanting to follow the training plan.

- during the first stipe fight Francis threw the game plan out the window and when everyone was saying how stupid his coaching team was and that Francis needs to change gym asap Nganou never owned up in the media to say he didn't follow his coaches plan

- Fernand then tells a story about a night he went to the mma award with Francis he won KO of the year. Fernand Said that everyone else thanked their coaching,there team etc but Francis only thanked his fans.

Note: This interview is from a long time ago, Lopez was real bitter, but in recent interviews he has stated that he let go of the past and wishes nothing but the best for Francis

Dawg I feel like I was leaning Francis the whole time even after gane beat volkov and even a bit after destroying Lewis

but the more I thought about it the gap closed because of how familiar they must be. Of course it could also potentially be an advantage for Francis but for some reason I think it’s good for gane more

Like maybe gane really knows where and how to avoid those bombs. Cuz I think it’s fair to say gane has the technical overall striking advantage

If (obviously huge if) gane can allude those nuclear warheads the path to victory is evident

Meanwhile Francis could also be familiar with ganes cadence and footwork. I think it’s more of an advantage for gane though idk just how I see it rn

That's a whole different Francis then what Erick Nicksick has helped make. Like that check hook that Francis caught Stipe with after Stipe stunned him wasn't in his bag before.

Fight is going to be fun as hell. Hopefully we can get it in November man.

Francis of old is more of a Wilder comparison than what we have now. Like Francis throwing leg kicks all thru the first round to set up the head kick that landed on Stipe in the 2nd is set ups and traps that we've never seen from him. And when Erick says that we haven't even seen his whole game of improvements, I believe him.

Gane is a different breed. I feel like they can be the 1A and 1B of the division for a long time. Much like Izzy and Rob

Doing that against stipe was some boldness plus when Francis went for the back and stayed on the ground

Would be hilarious if it ends up on the ground somehow again

Francis taking Stipe down and then transitioning into getting his back and some ground and pound was wild and definitely unexpected. If he actually develops his wrestling to the point that he can control where the fight goes he's gonna be a real problem. That would definitely have me picking him as the favorite against Gane.

As is though I think it's a toss up. Francis' striking was actually disciplined and looked far from rudimentary against Stipe, and Gane is a beast as far as heavyweight technical striking but at the end of the day he's fighting a guy who just has to land one.

That's gonna be a real interesting matchup, I'm hyped.

jon’s chin is still there, and at HW that’s probably the biggest commodity.

dana has some new toys to play with at HW, he doesn’t want jon to break them so quickly.

He lost against Reyes imo and looked mortal before that against Thiago. So good for him to sit back and go back to the drawing board

The only problem is hw is now looking hella dangerous at the top with Francis, gane and stipe. All 3 don’t have any glaring holes Jones can take advantage of and all those guys are bigger

Lhw is also no joke either with jiri, Jan, rakic and ankaleav. ****, if reyes recovers he could beat jon again, he looked elite against jiri

I think Jon beats all 3 at HW honestly…francis and gane being the easiest….these doods like BRAND NEW in MMA, they babies there are so many places they haven’t been inside that octagon that a guy like Jon THRIVES in, if he fights either of them I expect him to drag them into DEEP WATER and drown them. I don’t see jon trying to stand and purely kickbox ANYONE at HW.

stipe is definitely the most well rounded, but that chin also is on the decline. Jon excels against the cage, and for heavyweights thats the last place they want to be. Being pushed up against a wall having their energy zapped.

I don’t think a rematch would fair well for dom, especially now. His confidence was his main weapon leading into the jones fight, he doesn’t seem to have that anymore.

I look at it differently tbh, unless Jon’s wrestling can dominate at hw I think he’s gonna have a difficult time beating any of those 3. All that length and reach advantage ain’t gonna be there at hw

Gane a way more experienced (in kickboxing) better and bigger version of reyes. I think he’d give jon a lot of trouble standing. If jones can’t get him down, his striking ain’t better than ganes

Francis training with usman and improving his ground game isn’t promising for jones. If stipe couldn’t hold him down....
