Did you listen to this mornings Weighing In? That lol argument between Thompson and McCarthy on Khabib/Islam’s first 10 opponents. Thompson crazy. Barbosa and RDA invalidate that argument.
But…I also agree with Thompson that it was a bad showing for Islam. A lot of hype and pressure going into that fight. I think the top 5 or top 8 opponent will help elevate Islam. Islam seems like he has better striking than Khabib. And the wrestling can shine in certain match ups.
