The Nevada Athletic Commission has issued temporary suspensions to Khabib Nurmagomedovand Conor McGregor as its investigation into the wild UFC 229 post-fight brawl continues.

Both Nurmagomedov, the UFC lightweight champion, and McGregor, whom Nurmagomedov defeated via fourth-round submission in the main event of their bout last Saturday night at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, have been temporarily suspended the maximum 10 days by the commission.

At the next NAC meeting, which will be held in Las Vegas on Oct. 24, the commission will vote on whether to indefinitely suspend both competitors pending the completion of their investigation.
