"The Last Dance" Michael Jordan & Chicago Bulls Docuseries

me too bro. Another jerry Krause move that doesn’t get talked about alot. BW/BD brought a different dynamic to that team and he seamlessly in that Locker room with all the different personalities they had. His low post battles/dust ups with Karl Malone
No doubt a different kind of cat!

Gona miss a bit of the first ep tonight smh, anyone know how quickly ESPN puts it up on demand on their app?

Jerry Krause is a classic example of people liking you is often times more important than being right.

Jerry was right, about basically EVERYTHING,

but they are ****ting on him in death.

it's nasty.

Fidel Castro was right about some stuff too , but it doesn't make him any less of somebody you wouldn't want to be in bed with

I really hate when people throw this out there man.

To say they would have won 5 straight, with such confidence" is totally ignoring the wear and tear going deep into the playoffs each year puts on the mind/body/soul.

There is a chance they would have never won anymore than 3. You are looking at it in a hypothetical vacuum.

I said "I think" they could have. That is not the same as saying they would have won. My thought process was based on the momentum that they had riding. Calm down dude.

Didn't put much thought into it then.
I am calm, it is just a bad take either way man.

I think 4 straight was definitely going to happen. The top 4 players were in their prime: MJ, Scottie, Grant, BJ. The oldest one of them would have been MJ who would have been 31 in the '94 Finals. Kukoc was also young, there were only a few old guys on the team.

Also, I believe if the OLD-AS-HELL 96-98 teams could win 3 straight, this younger team could win 4 straight. Golden State played in 5 straight Finals, The easily could have won all of them, just change a few possessions here and there.

I'm not accounting for injuries or anything like that, just straight basketball. BUT, winning 4 straight could have ended up taking away some of the later titles because of fatigue.

Again, I won't argue what would or wouldn't happen.

I just think to even speculate on it is pointless..

I know that is what sports fans do but outside of what we saw, there are WAY too many unknowns/variables to even semi-confidently make ANY type of prediction.

They roasted him all through his career. We just weren't privy to the majority of it. He's getting his flowers for his successes as well.

Been watching some gems in anticipation for tonight’s ep 5/6. Clips like this put a smile on my face everytime the bulls are having fun on the court

Tonight’s Last Dance episodes will feature Kobe, so I thought I’d take a few pics of Kobe’s favorite Jordan model, along with Tinker’s 11 (a part of the “Muse” collection). Kobe was a huge fan of Tinker’s design “simplicity,” and the 3 was always Kobe’s favorite. Kobe enjoyed speaking to Tinker and picking his brain. He also cracked jokes about how his parents likely had beef with Tinker due to Kobe always wanting Jordans as a kid. Tinker’s version of the Kobe 11s pays homage to the Black Cement 3s🖤🐍✨🐐

There is always going to be someone "better."

Stop disrespecting the concept of time.

Call it hubris but I don’t think so. Nobody is going to come in and revolutionize the game all over and lead their team to two threepeats and go 6-0 in the Finals with 5 regular season MVPs and STILL leave the game early, twice.

nah b. Father Time takes the L here. Dude was an Olympic gold medalist before he hit the league and was arguably the best player in the league day 1.
