"The Last Dance" Michael Jordan & Chicago Bulls Docuseries

Never seen social media this excited about a documentary they marketed this well.

And to all bron stans saying Mike was threatened, had the 73-9 team won too he would have say yes too. That 2016 Finals was special tho

I wonder how this will affect the the 90s babies that swear LeBron is the goat. That is laughable to me bc I saw the greatest play and win.
Will probably effect Kobe fans more than Lebron fans

People are putting all the weight of MJ's decision to roll out that footage on LeBron, but there were other factors at play besides what that article mentioned. Dude isn't one for a lot of nostalgia. He didn't like putting a cap on himself. He's getting old. His contemporaries are getting old. Some are dead (MJ, Prince, Whitney). By 2016, he knew the significance of that 20 year mark as well.

My 1st pair of Jordans.
i used to hoop in 13's and man my feet would be a sweaty mess by the end of the game
great shoe very comfortable but no ventilation at all
I remember the first time I seen the hologram on the XIII in person! Watching the games on TV I never knew what it was around the heel then when I seen them on someone else’s feet and noticed it was a hologram 🤯

I was soo pissed when MJ switched to the 14s during the Finals.... The 13s are high on my list of all time Fav sneaker and not a fan of the 14s at all!
MJ last shot should have been in the Black and Red 13s🤨

How could you tell what they were? No one did back then, they just knew it wasn’t the XIII model. Besides, the XIV is a great performer. Having been in high school and owning both when new even I put the 14’s above the 13’s. Jordan had the best gripping sneaker to make that last second shot.

I was able to tell they weren’t Jordan 13s then ever paper the next day hand the final shot pic that showed the shoes

And you disliked them after seeing those pictures? You’re were missing out on a great shoe. I can’t vouch for today’s retro versions though.

You knew they were not 13s instantly. And it was obvious he was not gonna wear just some team J shoe. I didnt get a good look at them till a pic in SI mag was out. I assumed it was the next model 14. Knowing it was the last season it made sense for him to have all of us see him in THAT shoe. Marketing. I still wish he would have stayed with the 13 though.

I thought they were an all black 13 colorway and then saw some close ups of his replays. I thought they were cool looking but didn’t see them better until the summer issue of Slam Magazine’s premier issue of Kicks. You have to admit the XIV was a great model to leave off on. That shoe was superb for indoor and outdoor.

Still have it. Love this shoe also.

Never understood the debates about who the GOAT is. That term means different things to different people, so there is no concrete metric that we’re all judging these careers by. There’s nothing wrong with having an opinion, but it’ll always just be an opinion.

All these dudes who pop up in the GOAT convo are all amazing in their own right, so I just try to sit back and appreciate their greatness w/out some ranking system. :pimp:

Seriously,  Who is wearing 13s when they are watching this tonight?
