I know MJ wore these for the IMAX film but I WISH he broke this colorway out for one of the home games before the playoffs were over.

All these contracts comparing how much Jordan made vs. someone like Lebron, KD, Steph. Is it even fair to compare?
The NBA back in the day wasn't what it is today. Jordan literally catapulted the league. Also take into consideration inflation and that player contracts were very different back in the day, hence the CBA renegotiating for a larger share of revenue for players after Jordan retired.
At the time they weren't.Those big suits they wore back then were so trash lol
Bowie shouldn’t as he did what he could with his legs being what they were. It’s the TrialBlazers organization that must have plenty of regrets. The Rockets not so much because Hakeem got them 2 titles.I wonder if a day goes by that Sam Bowie doesn't think about The 1984 NBA Draft.
Not sure if it is a should/shouldn't type of thing, I am just wondering if he does honestly. Probably hard to live with being viewed as a complete disappointment for your entire professional life.Bowie shouldn’t as he did what he could with his legs being what they were. Hopefully he is a mentally tough person.
You obviously do not understand the trappings of celebrity, and then why it is dangerous for a Black athlete or celebrity to not be conscious of the imagery that is being sent back toward the culture that birthed him. The perception of a Black man/ Woman simply making it through hard work and determination, with no aspirations to uplift others who look like us, really and truly is a product of white supremacy.Jordan at the height of his popularity, is a basketball player. His job was job was to win championships for the Chicago Bulls. He is not obligated to speak out against kids getting robbed for his shoes if he doesn't want to. If Lebron wanted to go the extra mile for the hood, cool, that's his choice. Expecting every single celebrity with a voice, no matter how big or famous they may be, to speak out against issues is just not realistic at all.
We should not rely or expect our athletes to save our world here.
This discussion was closed by mods a little while ago. No need to repeat it.What exactly do you have in common with Jordan, that allows you to state the bold and then underlined?

For some reason only certain comments were deleted when the whole start of the discussion should have been. So, I say again. There is no reason to repeat it.Your comment was not deleted, therefore it was allowed to stand, so I will ask you again.

while claiming its not racist

Your comment is questionable to say the least, insulting. It speaks to how white people still think that they own the Black athlete. It is not surprising around here, considering that there are several members here who wish to SQUASH the topic upon Jordan's lack of activism, and why his position is supposedly his right. For some reason only certain comments were deleted when the whole start of the discussion should have been. So, I say again. There is no reason to repeat it.
Your intentionally trying to cause a problem you were not initially involved in. Unless you were apart of it. Which you were not. Stop trying so hard to get a reaction that your so needing.I see.
As we spoke before many on this site LOVE the Black athlete, just as long as he/she does not talk about being Black. It keeps them comfortable in their racist beliefs.
Never an intent to upset you.insulting
My last comment addressed you directly. So again, your comment was not deleted, and it is a comment which speaks to your privilege, and not the freedoms of those who are Black.Your intentionally trying to cause a problem you were not initially involved in. You are completely incorrect. You are trying to make a race issue out a Sports Documentary. This is not a race issue. My privilege on here is the exact same as yours. I do not want this with you. But at the same I owe YOU zero explanation. My last comment addressed you directly. I am not upset, angry or any other stereotype that may fit the narrative. When it comes to issues in the Black community, White people are the root cause in America. So when comments like yours are made, they need to be addressed, especially when you have others attempting to squash the discussion in their favor. There are many on this site that have a serious problem with Black independence, and then how we view ourselves. Comments like yours and that of Tobacco, those that you've agreed with, are a huge problem that our community has to deal with.Never an intent to upset you.

I did everything I could to rationalize the situation. If I were to tell you the same things you just said to me, you would cry foul. Please stop doing this.I am not upset, angry or any other stereotype that may fit the narrative. When it comes to issues in the Black community, White people are the root cause in America.
