Lol how you not know that
Lol how you not know that
Always good to come back to this for a smile.
I remember the first time that Jordan ran upon a player that did not come through those ranks of abuse, when he drafted Kwame Brown out of high school. He called Brown a gay slur during practice, then lost him forever. Jordan did come through that system of abuse, where it was thought that this is how you made players tougher both physically and mentally. There is a different energy in LeBron telling off the establishment, than it is punching Steve Kerr in the eye, or bullying teammates like Scott Burrell because you find them to be too nice. This is exactly why Bill Cartwright told him that he’ll break Jordan’s legs. LeBron’s generation is indeed different about such an approach, albeit not being totally erased as of yet.

Silly rabbit...
Yes. Jordan has all of those anti social signs, no doubt. My favorite musical artist, well one of them, is James Brown. There is a book that came out a few years ago named “Kill’em And Leave”, and it discusses what it meant to be a leader of a bunch of people who cannot manage themselves, then how abusive tactics were used ti keep these personalities in line. Jordan reminds me of Brown in that way. Brown was also a self hating narcissist. The real story if how all of this began, especially for the Black athlete, starts with slavery, and how Black people should be handled differently from everyone else.
dont know what u sighing for
GrineThat their relationship allowed MJ to say that that and Bird to accept it.
Did you miss every part of the doc where Larry was saying complimentary stuff about Jordan?
you’re literally the only person who sees it as problematic
Dudes fooling themselves if they think things have changed much. Just the illusion of change.
Grine

The tone, history and everything else in that exchange was lost on you. Nothing wrong with that.
Stop trying to make it something that it wasn’t.
