"The Last Dance" Michael Jordan & Chicago Bulls Docuseries

Player movement is completely irrelevant to the topic at hand...That GS team was better than any team Mike faced in the Finals.
So? They'd still lose against either 3peat Bulls team.

We all know what it looks like when GS faces a stellar defense with a super star player.

Bob Costas with his constant pot shots at Dennis Rodman's wrestling career. Mind you this is the same Bob Costas that **** rides Cardinal players of year's past (who were far from saints themselves) and Mickey Mantle.

But MJ calling Dennis Rodman "Rodzilla" was comedy. "

How would pizza bois know who the pizza was for. Smh this story is false. Any smart person would have used the managers name or best friend
I posted this video Thursday. His trainer goes into more depth about what happened and why pizza guys knew MJ was there and what happened that night. Imo, if he was just hung over then why go with pizza poisoning and make up such an elaborate story lol. Why not just say you had the flu?

Mike is def a maniac. That man put Russell on his “list” for a couple of years over what was likely a friendly joke. Jesus.:lol:
Worst was him being mad at that washington bullets player for playing better than him in a game then the guy telling him "good game". Like that was some kinda insult to him. Then he admits to reporters when asked that he made it up to motivate himself. Like damn, even when someone doesn't say anything he will pretend they did so he can destroy them.

Looking like the cover of an ayo romance novel.

You don't inhale cigars. *I know some people do, but those are usually hardcore/grimey/no f's given type dudes.
I only smoked cigars maybe once or twice but I did inhale. Used to smoke swisher sweets and inhaled those too and everyone hated me because of how they smelled.

Just caught episode 10, great end to the series. I hope they do more of these in the future

This actually made me really want a Kobe one even more. The contrasts to how he (and the Lakers) played the game would be great to see. Especially with Phil being the constant for both teams.

LeBron is from a different generation, a different athlete. His personality was formed through different societal norms, where feelings matter. Being a parent of two in their twenties, I saw the difference once my daughters got into school. That said, LeBron is exactly who he should be as is DRose, Steph Curry, DWade as well. Jordan came from a generation that normalized abuse, especially abuse coming from coaches. It did not make you tougher, it simply made you insensitive, numb to the feelings of others. So in the doc, then seeing his present day issues with Barkley, Pippen, and other athletes, it shows that Jordan still has deep seeded issues, mad insecurities, even though he has those six rings. LeBron is going to be way ahead of Jordan in this regard, especially when his career ends.

... as if LeBron ain’t NEVER verbally abused his teammates. Abuse is STILL highly prevalent in our society. Ya’ll just be saying anything.

LeBron has cursed out and embarrassed many a coaches. Look how he treated Blatt and Ty Lue :lol

Jordan ain’t got “feelings” or is insensitive or numb....... yet get gave the game ball to his ailing security guard. Was BY HIS SIDE when dude was diagnosed with cancer. Even had his widow in the documentary. Ya’ll gotta stop shaping stuff and make it seem like times are different.

People are still heartless, insincere, violent, narcissistic and don’t have any empathy nowadays. Jordan is abrasive. SOME OF US CAN HANDLE ABASIVENESS.

To act like the man is heartless is downright wrong. That sounds like a personal problem.

Times are VERY different and to ignore them or pretend they don't exist is wild.

The era one grows up in can alter his/her approach to their craft. (I am NOT saying there aren't anamolies) and that is part of the reason the LeBron vs. Jordan argument is kind of pointless. That is why most cross-generational comparisons are pointless.

Of course there IS an emotional/softer side to each of us, even the ones that are considered "heartless."

For whatever reason, People from both sides of the Jordan/LeBron debate feel like they NEED use #NTExtremes to make their points.

The dudes are just different. They both are EXCELLENT but they are just different.

Let that man LeBron enjoy his career. (Not saying HE isn't part of the reason why this convo continues).
Let that man Jordan rest in peace.

We don't need this,

the ending seemed rushed

Stockton agreed to an interview in the 11th hour. And I don't blame him lol

Please explain the difference between the 80s and 90s. Bottom line, people’s Personalities and emotions are STILL the same. Only difference is technology, SM and accessibility. At the core, humans have not changed.

To act like coaches and players don’t yell, argue, scream, fight or berate each other is WRONG. Cats like Bobby Portis and Percy Harvin were beating up teammates left and right. Coaches And players are still boisterous

Is bringing up the Jordan Wizards stint, Pip playing in Houston and Portland, Kerr with the Spurs relevant to the story of the Last Dance?

My only issue is MJ executive producing it. It was a completely journalistic piece but oh well neither are the Michael Moore docs.

Also no Malone interview? Or reverence from Wade, Lebron, Kobe, Angelo, etc?

this could’ve easily been a 20-part docuseries but you have to cut it at some point.

Oh, and people are still the same. Nothing will ever change people. We just live in a world now where everything is under a microscope. Everyone is more cautious of what they say or show in public.

I don't think anyone said it doesn't exist today, it surely happens.
I don't think anyone said it doesn't exist today, it surely happens.

It happens at a much lower frequency because there is MORE public pushback of that type of behavior in 2020.

That is the difference.

Clip doesn't explain how the pizza guys knew it was for MJ.
