That story about some kid trying to get MJ's autograph on some dirty shoes was terrible. I would have thrown those shoes in his face. No manners. it's the corporate forces behind entities like Nike to blame for exploitation...you can't blame figurehead athletes for that...but you can question the lack of social consciousness amongst American men, but thats a whole argument in itself that has bigger implications than this discussion about MJ.
