I love BB and I think he's probably the greatest coach of my time but I just realized. Since he took over, the AFCE is basically the AFCS. That division is terrible outside of NE. Jets had like two good years, Miami had one or two. That's it. I wonder what it would be like if he was in a better division. I think he's still winning a good amount but that division is trash.
our record outside of the division is still pretty good.
and i dont think any division is THAT great in the AFC.
*looks to the rafters*![]()

his division aint **** either, man. ravens the only ones that challenge. and pretty sure we still got a winning record against them overall in the bill and brady era. but don't hold me to that![]()

just funny to me.. the way he talks about certain guys and teams..Nothing, he was a horrible GM.
legit question, currently listening to bill simmon's 'Friday rollin' podcast..
what has mike Lombardi accomplished to speak with the authority that he does?
like I get the average joe blow spouting off because they'll never be in a position to have any say (and thus build a record of success or failure actually being charge).. but you would assume a guy who was once in charge of the browns would have some sort of empathy with some of this shhhh
But since so many good players/coaches/GMs are terrible media analysts, why can't a bad one be a good analyst?
Anyone who has ever worked in Belicheck's orbit gets incredible credit from the media/NFL owners etc. and they've all turned out to be terrible when they go out on their own. Bill O'Brien will be the latest to be exposed this season (if he hasn't been already)

without nuance to all the things that take place on a giving play or for teams and for players.. just amazes me someone who got to where he was AND fail.. and then talks like he does
especially with connects to the pats and hoodie, who have been taking advantage of bad/dumb teams for years and picking off guys and then putting them in positions to succeed
I can't call it w/ Matt Patricia, but I'm very confident that Josh won't "destroy franchises" or anything like that in his next gig. I'm a believer in Josh.* He's a lot wiser and much improved from his first stint with New England.

Also someone's going to hire McDaniels again and their D-Coordinator and they're both going to destroy the franchises that hire them.
I think Gordon needs a better inner-circle of friends to help keep him in check.
hoodie will figure it out
