I love BB and I think he's probably the greatest coach of my time but I just realized. Since he took over, the AFCE is basically the AFCS. That division is terrible outside of NE. Jets had like two good years, Miami had one or two. That's it. I wonder what it would be like if he was in a better division. I think he's still winning a good amount but that division is trash.

our record outside of the division is still pretty good.

and i dont think any division is THAT great in the AFC.

*looks to the rafters*  8o

:lol repped

his division aint **** either, man. ravens the only ones that challenge. and pretty sure we still got a winning record against them overall in the bill and brady era. but don't hold me to that :lol

overall tho. the jets got our number in the playoffs, too. so in that respect, the AFC East is no different

legit question, currently listening to bill simmon's 'Friday rollin' podcast..

what has mike Lombardi accomplished to speak with the authority that he does?

like I get the average joe blow spouting off because they'll never be in a position to have any say (and thus build a record of success or failure actually being charge).. but you would assume a guy who was once in charge of the browns would have some sort of empathy with some of this shhhh
Nothing, he was a horrible GM.

But since so many good players/coaches/GMs are terrible media analysts, why can't a bad one be a good analyst?
just funny to me.. the way he talks about certain guys and teams..

without nuance to all the things that take place on a giving play or for teams and for players.. just amazes me someone who got to where he was AND failed could then proceed to talk like he does

especially with connects to the pats and hoodie, who have been taking advantage of bad/dumb teams for years and picking off guys and then putting them in positions to succeed

Anyone who has ever worked in Belicheck's orbit gets incredible credit from the media/NFL owners etc. and they've all turned out to be terrible when they go out on their own.  Bill O'Brien will be the latest to be exposed this season (if he hasn't been already)

Also someone's going to hire McDaniels again and their D-Coordinator and they're both going to destroy the franchises that hire them.

I can't call it w/ Matt Patricia, but I'm very confident that Josh won't "destroy franchises" or anything like that in his next gig. I'm a believer in Josh.* He's a lot wiser and much improved from his first stint with New England.

He's not getting complete control over personnel again anyway. Not after how that turned out last time.

It should be a seamless sync with the front office since he'll most likely end up with the Lions or (my bet) Titans though. Both ran by former Patriots execs.

*To keep it 100 though, I was also a believer in BoB, but that pathetic effort & performance vs. the Patriots has me re-thinking things on him.

I never thought he was like the other failures. He's gotta prove something to me now.

a friend just told me he read some guy on reddit who is in the know with the browns said that Gordon was going to rehab a day before it was being reported and everyone thought he was trolling. Then it came out Gordon is in fact going to rehab. The same guy just said Gordon did test positive for something, weed im sure. So that report should be coming soon as well. Which is what we suspected was going to happen.

Maybe Josh purposely went to rehab to get away from the Browns and to make sure he don't have to pay a lot for child support since technically he doesn't have any income at the moment. Killing 2 birds with one stone.

The people on r/ff love Gordon :lol

That was the top post on Reddit for a few hours yesterday :lol

Speaking of Belichick. They was saying on Skip and Shannon's show that Mangini regretted being a rat. :lol

What always stood out to me was that he told Bill don't tape my team and he did it anyway. Bill's arrogance tainted their legacy.

man, you aint lying about fresh tennis balls. take it easy on the gasoline tho
