Cowboys won't play Romo for a multitude of reasons.
One, if he comes in and gets hurt (again) any potential trade value is immediately lost. The other side is that if Romo comes in and plays just average at worse, the media will start some ******** controversy again right in the middle of our playoff run. Romo knows the offense like the back of his hand, so the idea of being rusty is not significant in comparison to the above.

This Cowboys season has been magical and it almost feels like a dream. Even if our season ends in the divisional round, I'm proud of my squad and hopeful for the future. Watched some film from years past and relieved the pain of having to see my squad make an early playoff exit or have our season end in the regular season on a game ending Romo mistake. Romo has had ups and downs and put up some great stats, but he never had the clutch gene when it mattered. He's had many opportunities in his time as starting QB to flourish, but really hasn't. It's now time to see if Dak has what it takes to bring glory to this franchise once again. I thought for sure we would be stuck with an often-injured Romo until his late 30s. So even if we don't win it all this season, I'm happy that Jerry and co had big enough balls to move on from Romo.

Cowboys will be one and done. Washington will go down there and handle it. Mark my words. TURNT is gonna shock everyone. Giants don't eliminate us Sunday they'll regret it come the NFC Championship Game.
