not surprised and i don't expect much different. very few will speak openly on the topic. everything these guys say is over scrutinized and over analyzed. the last thing they want it to end up looking like idiot drew brees who said the dumbest thing i've heard come out of a player's mouth on this topic.

I didn't think I could dislike Russell anymore than I already did off the field. That's gotta be one of the worst responses I've heard. Straight kissing the white man's d**k. **** him.

I read on BR about how execs around the NFL feel. It was funny as hell but all rumors so who knows. They said some execs would rather quit than sign him. He doesn't belong in the league. he's ungrateful and football has given him so much that he couldn't get anywhere else. One guy said he hasn't seen a player this hated since Rae Carruth. Hahahahahahah, slave owner mentality with these owners.

Owners would rather quit their job than employ Kaepernick but won't hesitate to sign Josh Brown to an extension knowing his history or take a chance on Greg Hardy.

Lol

Gotta be honest, I did expect Russell to tap dance

Here's the sad thing, we would still keep watching the NFL because we love football so much. God dammit.

Kaep does suck at his job, though. Hardy is a force and good at his job.

all about wins and $. we know that. no one cares about what you do if you're good at playing football

Kaep does suck. But how the execs framed their reasoning on why they wouldn't sign Kaep is nothing based on how much talent he has.

Exactly.

I haven't been participating in the Kaepernick discussion because I don't like to speak on things if I'm not educated but the comments from the Execs. really rubbed me the wrong way.

Also, I finally heard Rodney Harrison's take. He really said if Kaep wants to make a difference he should just write a check because he makes so much money. What an ***.

seriously :lol

last time I remember arguing with him he said Jared Goff will be a bust because he is a turnover machine and isn't accurate, Goff had over a 3:1 TD/INT ratio and only 30 INT's in 3 seasons then he says he fumbles a lot which is false to try and make his point then he was trying to tell me the Eagles moved up to pick an OL on draft day when it was well known it would be Wentz and I will be wrong by the end of the night

dude said some of the dumbest **** which 95% up it was just made up

How has Russell Wilson not been asked anything yet? I gotta here that response lol.

:lol

It's what you'd expect.

"I love the National Anthem because it's an emotional time for me because I'm so grateful I get to play on the football field. And every time I get to put my hand on my heart, it's truly an honor."

Not surprised, white folk love that song.

"To be honest, I'll eat any type of eggs. I'm just grateful I'm in a position where I could choose how I want my eggs cooked."

I didn't either.  First off, it's still a political non-answer but that's not all he said.

“I do think there are issues in our country,” Wilson said. “Ultimately, that comes back to love, like I’ve told you guys before. It comes back to loving one another, appreciating one another, understanding that we are not perfect — but we need to be equal. That’s from the Black community, that’s from the White community, that’s from the police officers to just everybody, all of our military. Just everybody that we get to recognize and see, have an appreciation for what this country is based on — what it should be based on. It should be based on equality. It should be based on freedom of speech. People can have that decision.

“So, I understand, I understand what he’s doing. But at the same time, for me, I also think about where we need to go, where our thoughts need to be. It needs to be about love. It needs to be about caring for other people. And that’s for every community, every situation, every socio-economic status. And if we can focus on that, maybe something will change. And I think that’s important."

Wilson's taken stands before in private—i.e. moving his wedding from NC at the last minute because of the bathroom law.

eesh you seeing this on twitter?

saw this as well. figured as much given how they had to call the ambulance immediately. anything your you break/dislocate/fracture something around the knee and higher, that femoral artery becomes trouble. it's scary when you google how many football players (high school and higher) have lost a leg or come close to it from leg injuries. way more than one would expect. still mind blowing that it wasn't a contact injury.

My goodness.

A professional athlete almost losing his damn leg after sustaining a non-contact injury from planting his F'ing foot. What. the. ****. Bizarre as hell.

Imagine it was always gonna give out on him no matter what, and instead it happens while playing backyard football during the offseason? Man...
