This thread does something to me. It causes me to have a bit of disdain for Nike's current shoes. That's kind of unfair, but good god seeing these materials and colors kill me. I don't know if it's merely nostalgia, but these shoes are something else. It reminds me of why I fell in love with the brand so long ago.

I feel the same way sometimes but as in life change is inevitable and not always a good thing.
I guess I should consider myself fortunate for having been able to wear some of these shoes when they were released even if most of them were way too expensive for my parents to afford. The same goes for music specifically hip hop. I got to grow up in the 90s where all the hip hop I loved was played on the radio and most of it was quality stuff. Those days are gone and everything from shoes to music today is mass produced for a quick buck. What was hot last week is irrelevant today. The love is gone.

Nice. I'm still debating on wearing my OG Black/White ones. I want to but they are so damn beautiful I don't know if I can because of the white sole and midsole. I don't want to stain them up.I just picked these up recently. Were DS but I wore them once already. LOL

Awesome ! I played with them maaaaaaaany years ago. Best basketball shoe ever !So I know most people prefer the newer stuff and while I love some of it too you can't front on the OG heat. Post some pics of classic Nikes you own.
