The Concept Of Carrying A Team: What Does It Mean To You?

I don't associate it so much with success but more so, where would your team be without you?

If you're nightly performance is the undisputed reason why your team goes 25-57 and without you the team would be 6-76, that's carrying the team on your back to me.

If you're a superstar and your team goes 59-23, but without you they'd still be say 51-31 that's not carrying your team.

Carry over from the Monta Ellis thread.  Arguing semantics on NT.

Pretty stupid, I know.

IMO it has to result in the team getting somewhere in the playoffs finals or maybe even a winning record.

Iverson carried the Sixers to the Finals. Kobe never has.
