Think Tip stopped cuz his other stuff was making more money. He didn't really need to be a podcaster/content creator.

Nah I’m not saying that he needed to be in that space. I can imagine Tip’s set for life. I’m just speaking on that wave of new podcasts that flooded the market and are gone now. Expeditiously being one of them.

I didn't even think about how the splits from radio and streaming are completely different and radio is more favorable.

But artist are out here thinking they don't need radio and aren't going to radio stations anymore. It's just creating more money for the labels, while they can pretend they aren't making any money. They're just depending on the label and aren't waiting outside for Flex or Clue.

It was always crazy to me how the labels negotiated with Apple/Spotify/Amazon, but the artist didn't have a seat at the table to speak on their behalf.
