Curry's final year at Davidson during that tourney run was one of the greatest performances I've ever witnessed.

The great tournament run was his Sophomore year amazing

great combination of coaching and elite performance. McKillop and Curry killed it that year. Davidson was a decent team but nowhere near talented for the run they went on if not for those 2.

One of my biggest "what if" questions in sports...

What if Jason Richards makes that shot against KU in he Elite 8 and Davidson beats Kansas?

-No Final Four for KU/Self

-No Mario's Miracle

-North Carolina or Memphis championship?

-What does it mean for Self? This would mean he wouldn't have reached a Final Four until 2012. KU fans wouldn't be happy with that...

A Stephen Curry/Derrick Rose NCAA Championship Game in retrospect would have been legendary.

I don't think that would have changed anything with Bill Self.

Fran McAffery will have an explosion in the post-game press conference if Iowa drops this game to Northwestern (1-10 in the B1G). Wildcats up 31-26 with 18:36 remaining. Such a weird game. Aaron White's been timid as hell for no reason at all, and nobody else is stepping up in his place. Finally starting to attack a little.

Northwestern's record in Big Ten conference play since No Tie Carmody was let go: 2-17.

Carmody's teams went 76-56 from 2008-09 season through 2011-12 season, then after a 13-19 finish in 2013-14 he's kicked out the door. That athletic department is a mess.

I think they extended his contract this year. If they fall apart like last year I don't see how he survives though.

Just seems like a lot of years they drop 5 or so games they shouldn't lose which usually come back to bite them and have them on the outside looking in tourney time. Also seems like hes been there longer than 5 years.

Indiana and St. Johns saving their season

Hoosiers could realistically win all of their remaining games and close the season as the second best team in the Big Ten which no one saw coming. If Troy comes back next year and can develop anything resembling a jumper, he'll be one of the best few players in the country.
