Dead serious. If you're in the position to draft a player, you draft him, not just by what he can do right now, but how he projects 3 to 4 years after that draft. Napier is 6'1 180 and is scorer. Those guys generally do not improve in the league. They are who they are and from a prospect perspective, they just aren't that valuable or valued highly at all.

Give me the 23 year old guard who can run the pick and roll already, create for himself and others ,play both sides of the floor and can already run the show. You take that 6'2 guard who's terrible at decision making and can't shoot a lick.

But I get what you mean as far as nba gM standards.
