Last year I would've been down for LeBron in 'Sota even if they "have to" draft his kid, but Bron doesn't really fit for this roster...I don't think? I mean, you'd have to make it work because it's LeBron, but at what cost?

All I know Good Sir is that a starting 5 of DLo, ANT, Jaden,Bron and Rudy would be THE MOST ENTERTAINING LINEUP I HAVE EVER SEEN

IMHO Bron fits right now with any team who will understand that if you listen to Him and have the talent HE will take ya where you are aiming to go, so NOT LAKERLAND, they r wasting the last bit HE has left to offer and it is a crying shame.


But yeah not in MINN now , this already more interesting and fun than I hoped for

Sometimes I think Finch gets influenced by Jim Petersen (Wolves color commentator). He knows his **** and has no reservations expressing his opinion on what needs to get fixed. Sure enough, a few games later, the Wolves have tightened up that exact issue.

Hopefully it is Finch recognizing and correcting, he's been good at that, but I agree. Wolves have no discipline or true identity yet.

I'm fine with Jaden. His progress always been slow, but he keeps getting better. He's got a new role rn, but as I mentioned, Wolves have no identity yet, so the pieces aren't fitting just yet, but they have all the right ones.

So many different things.
1. Jaden McDaniels stinks. Ton of potential and physical tools, but he stinks. He can't handle the ball, can't run the offense, and he can't shoot from distance. He's shooting historically at the rim, but it isn't helpful when he ends up open from 3, and it kills a possession. His defense isn't to the level where you're like yeah, he's the best perimeter defender on the team. If they give him an extension, they've been talking about, it's gonna be rough.
2. Ant hasn't taken the leap to be a primary ball handler, and run an offense. Can get his own points whenever he wants, but isn't the best to set up teammates. His defense also stinks.
If the team is supposed to win a Title, Ant and Jaden have to be better than good defenders.
3. DLo has to be quicker on offense, but it isn't necessarily his fault when they are not even moving off ball or coming to set the screen, and not running 10 P&R's a game with him is baffling.
DLo knows each teams sets, but can't be calling them out at the top of the key, happened last game and this game where it led to him sleeping.
Stop taking DLo out at 5 minutes then putting him back in with 2-3 minutes left. It's such an awful strategy.
Get him out quicker, if you want him to rest, and allow him to play back into the end of the game.

essential, you dont think ANT can get his own shots ? He doesnt seem to be having trouble getting to the rim and the mid range looks pretty good. Tonight was obviously a 1st half stinker but once he got it going it was nice all around.

I LIKE RUDAY ALOT, but does he seem a little too laid back around the rim on the offensive end ?


I know y'all are gonna laugh, aint no problem with it either BUT I LOVE THAT DLO,ANT,JADEN,TP,NAZ line, hustled they asses off and just seemed 'dialed in' for the only time all night.


We have all said from the beginning its gonna take a minute or 2 to FIGURE it all out, looks like we were right.

VERY interested to see how they deal with phx after a game they 'should' have grabbed.

Nah I said Ant can get his own shots. But finding shots for others is a work in progress. Which goes back to him not taking a jump as a primary ball handler.

They just need to clean up the glass and not allow so many open shots. They are one of the worst teams for DReb%. one of the worst allowing 2nd chance points.

And one of the worst 3 point shooting teams.

Yeah, I'm with you. essential1 has great points and good observation, but I think Wolves fans have a lot more patience rn. I'll say it again, they're just wading through the waters trying to figure out how to play together. If we're still having the same conversation February, than yeah..but I'm willing to handle the bumps for the long haul potential.

It’s a lot of effort type stuff. Shot goes up, everyone crash the board. Don’t worry about transition, those come by forcing turnovers and blocking shots. To have 3 6’9”+ guys and be one of the worst defensive rebounding teams is madness.

And you entrust McDaniels to have the primary ball handler on defense. It would force more 3s, if it’s a bigger player that he’s on, it would highlight Rudy. But it has to start now and get it going. You’ll know by January if he’s a guy you should be paying or not. Ant gets the perimeter player who moves the most off ball. DLo gets the weakest shooter which could allow him to be the communicator.

-Not fast enough pace
-Too high usage %

When you look at every stats, none of them are actually true.
Maybe the pace, but with the team they have, a ridiculous pace would kill KAT and Rudy. It’s why McLaughlin is good in his 10-12 minutes. But if you put him in there extended it all goes to hell every time.

lol ! I was just reading reddit and they r blaming Dlo too, sorry not gonna float with me. DLo is the easy one to blame, from what I see he is just as important to this working as ANYONE !!!
I like that essential points out Mclaughlin, his availability plays a HUGE part in putting this puzzle together.

Havent even played 10 games yet but hey, folx gonna judge regardless, PATIENCE here can make or break the whole thing, Ima not usually patient, but IN THIS CASE YA GOTTA BE or itll eat ya up.

If the season ends today Wolves would be the 5th best defensive team in the nba but in the bottom 10 offensively. I would have expected the exact OPPOSITE.​

When expectations are SO HIGH this kida ISH is bound to happen. Id rather be hunted than the hunter, period !
