I saw Rudy and a couple others tell each other 'we gotta keep talking' a few times last night. its kinda like getting to know a new roomate and ish, what they like, where they like to go, all that stuff, in the beginning it feels weird, more time that goes by and the more you learn bout each other it all becomes alot more comfortable, if you will


if it dont feel right just play your music so loud they wanna be anywhere but there :rofl:





gotta admit though that 1st quarter looked so so good it wasnt even funny, that was our glimpse at how its gonna be on the regular soon enough, BET THAT

Good amount of communication issues.

Need Ant and McDaniels to take charge on the perimeter D.

Have to be more forceful chasing screens. If you’re aggressive going over the top of screens, it doesn’t allow too much time for MOST players to gather and take the open shot. Rather it chases them into Rudy which is the purpose of drop coverage.
If you half *** over the screen or switch, you’re allowing the open shot because the purpose is for Rudy to stay at 15-17 feet and eliminate the paint.

Also KAT can’t also play drop coverage. If it’s a poor shooting 4, sure. But if he’s out there with Rudy, you can’t double drop coverage. Get into defensive stance and pick them up at 23 feet.

Some bad defensive rotation off ball. Probably been most of these guys achilles heel in their respective careers. I know it’s DLos. When he’s on-ball he’s actually a plus defender. When he’s off-ball, he is more concerned with the play as it unfolds and is prone to lose his man.

Be more aggressive on Defense. And Pick & Rolls and they are 4-0.

AGGRESSIVE, the 1 HUGE ASPECT that has been missing 90% of the time.

Wasnt this a BiG PROBLEM last year, the 'laid back' approach ?


I LOVE that what needs to be fixed can be done somewhat easily.


I CANT LIE, I really like when DLo,AE,Nowell, and Naz r all in there at the same time. I know its not ideal but goodness it seems to be seemless between them.

I saw what KAT said but I didn't know the Popeye's/out of shape thing was an actual issue. I thought it was just jokes.
