Laker fans still mad about LMA actually choosing a good team over them.


I saw a lot imaginary lineups in their thread with him in it, now he's goes to a better team and he's "older".

Why are Lakers fans so threatened by San Antonio? For a franchise people claim isn't one of the most successful of the past 15+ years y'all sure do go out the way to belittle them.

Why does it matter who is a fan of who? Its pretty dumb to bring that up when its not part of the discussion

But those same past accomplishments are the reason why alot of people hate the lakers and their fans thus why they are targeted and can never have an opinion without someone bringing up they are laker fans or why it seems to be a laker fan

The only time my fellow laker fans annoy me is if they hate on lebron because they got no reason to lebron was never a rival to the lakers

Laker fans are like the ultimate haters on this site right now

Some of them (not you CP ) have turned trolling into a legit artform . Guess that's the most they can do while their team is a couple years away from being a couple years away

Its not even legit critiques though like "Kobe>Lebron"

The Spurs and Clippers were two of the best teams in the league last year, it just happened that they met up in round 1. And it was a coin flip series that came down to the wire.

I wonder if taking Russell and signing LMA is something to help pull Durant.

I want Tobias, really like the kid, but he does kind of block chasing Durant. Unless we used him as a hybrid 3/4. But we'd be spending so much money, for the same position essentially.

Could be the squad in 2016. Russell/LMA both help attract Durant, along with the duo we already have in Randle/Clarkson.


I just assumed we would go Okafor the whole way, cuz we always pull bigs when it's there, but if we went this route, would anyone object?


One last note. Pulling LMA weakens Portland, AND blocks San Antonio from refueling their roster around Kawhi. And, likely puts Okafor in the East (Philly or the Knicks)

I don't understand what they're even attempting, because the Blazers nor the Clippers are going to be receptive to sign and trades. No way.

And I can't think of even a smaller give away deal, like Nick Young for a yo yo, to free up another 4 mil, and maybe they split the space of 27 mil, 13.5 each? :\

Those teams that you mentioned don't come close to threatening the Lakers success the past 15 years. The spurs are the only threat to that.

Your statements aren't factual though. San Antonio was one of the best teams in the league, unfortunately things just didn't work out in their favor during their series against the Clippers. Overrated every year yet they always find a way to remain competitive with an aging squad. 5 titles during Duncan's tenure...but we overrate them every year. Doesn't sound like your being reasonable to me.

Last year we offered Melo, there's posts of me talkin about that, but that isn't me wanting Melo now is it?

Those posts have me askin if its attempts to pull him + DeAndre, or him + KD. Not me wanting him by himself.

You also see me talkin about Tobias. From this class, I woulda been happy with either of the 3 I named, DJ, LMA, or Tobias, all for diff reasons. But moreso I was pissed at 25 mil blockin pursuin multiple of them.

In fact, I came in here that day bent at the Blazer writer who was bashin LMA for leavin Portland, the Jason Quick article.

I got nothin against him, at all. He's just older than Splitter and the D West signing is even older, that's the point I've been making.
