He can do better than that

And so begins the 18th straight day of arguing about player compensation.

Ty Lawson strikes me as one of them cats that wasn't use to P and now that he got some change he behaving like he has lost his mind.

We've had virtually the same teams be dominant for decades with a salary cap in place. So, not sure about your parity argument if that's your main concern.

Teams are getting better I think. You could have the fairest rules in the league but if you have owners like you do in Philly or Sacramento, it's tough.

In the 2000s, it was pretty much Lakers, Spurs, or bust.

Really? I'm bowing out then. :lol

I think he had some domestic stuff going on with that shortie from Bad Girls Club too :{. Who knows if thats even true

Im surprised Boogie even stood up to dap Karl :lol

I kinda wish JET came back to the Mavs, even with our bloated back-court right now. :lol :(

I was not about paying him the kind of money he was getting elsewhere. But for veteran's minimum? He's a fun guy to have around.

It's a lot easier to get 5-8 superstars in the NBA than it would be in baseball.

One great player can excel a team into contention. That just doesn't happen in basketball. Imagine if Dwight, Boogie, and CP3 joined the Heat during their run. They wouldn't have been stopped.

The salary limitations are two fold. Yes it does maximize profits for the owners. But it also keeps parity within the league.

I'm not opposed to an increased salary cap with increased maximum salaries. Bump the salary cap up to 130 million. Works for me. But there still need to be restrictions in place. It shouldn't be a free market. That encourages the most flexible owner to win.

I think this debate boils down to whether you think big spenders (ala Yankees) would dominate without a salary cap in the NBA. I personally think it would negatively impact the product, but can see where people would see differently. Agree to disagree.

This entire parity thing is a farce and copout. Last year was the 1st year without Kobe, Duncan, or Wade in the Finals in 15 years. It's just an excuse for the billionaires to not have to run their organizations properly because they turn a profit either way. And the entire BS about it hurting the small markets is even worse, CLE going to have il over a $200 million and their clown owner was the main one crying right after the lockout was over about LA acquiring CP in a trade.

Ty Lawson is a moron and I would not put him in charge of running my team. Way too immature.

Well in his way to back up point guard status soon and Denver needs to ship him fast to keep him far away from Mudiay

Yup get Lawson the hell away from him

Last I'll chime in on this. :lol

http://www.statista.com/statistics/193704/revenue-of-national-basketball-association-teams-in-2010/

A team like the Nets, actually has lost money recently.

http://www.thepostgame.com/blog/dis...nets-suffered-enormous-loss-revenue-2013-2014

So in the end, all things included, teams like this break even. Or you see them not making an excess of money.

For every Lakers, there is a Philly 76ers. For every Heat/Spurs, there is a Bucks/Nets.

Some teams are just mismanaged and run poorly. But it's like the Bucks owner is out there balling. He had money to begin with to get the team. It's not like every owner out there is equivalent to the Lakers. :lol

Ty is disobeying the Law Son X 2!!!

Let Muday flourish full time Denver!
