i feel like NBA players get more than NFL players because one single player has a bigger impact on a team than one NFL player.

Like LeBron James on any NBA team puts them in the Playoffs.  Put the best NFL player on the worst team, are they gonna be a good team instantly? probably not
But can you say the same about a baseball player? I don't think so and they get paid more than NBA players.

strong argument right here

I agree too

gretsky would have.

Well an NFL roster has 53 players an NBA roster has 15. On principle the NFL player is going to get paid less

An NFL team fields 11 players an NBA 5. By nature any single player will effect an NBA team much more than NFL

been following BDot on Vine for a while now...dude is hilarious :lol :lol

edit: don't know how many he had before today but he's up to 471K..

Will be disappointed if Kings didn't win at least 40 games tbh

As good as Boogie is supposed to be, they should get 40. WCS ready to step in today and be a Gobert/Whiteside defensively. When he gets into foul trouble Koufas will step in and produce

I hate the non guaranteed contracts. Especially for a sport as dangerous as football.

I actually hate guaranteed contracts. Too many guys get a fat contract and suck balls afterwards. If you were and owner, why would you guarantee somebody 7-10 years after only performing well for a couple? Who's to say they're gonna maintain the fire and hunger to be good? Or just milk it and collect their check

Loyalty comes a lot easier with a great coach, owners willing to spend money, and a GM(s) who can build the right roster around you.

I don't think anyone would argue it's great to see a guy stick with his franchise for his career, through thick and thin, it's a nice story. But if your ownership is cheap, if your GMs are incompetent, if your teammates can't step up repeatedly, then by all means go elsewhere. For the Duncan's and Dirk's of the world, we also have guys like KG, Lebron in his 1st stint in Cleveland, etc.

Where are all these misconceptions as to why certain players take less money coming from? No ones doing it benefit the owners

Agreed. as much as i hate rondo but if dude comes up big, i wouldn't be surprised if they mess around and win 50 games. IMO the kings will make the playoffs.

Yall putting too much stock into that Kings squad.

WCS is definitely a huge win for them but I don't believe in anybody on that roster besides he and Boogie and he's going to need at least a year to find himself.

I don't think it's unreasonable to say they should get 40 wins. They had 29 last season

Rondo/Collison

Marco/Ben

Gay/Anderson/Casspi/Butler

Cousins/Koufas

WCS

Good balance of offense and defense. Veteran players. Veteran coach. All world player in Cousins

They have a 10 deep roster
