am i the only one that think OKC would've been better off not matching the offer sheet? Ibaka/Adams is a much better frontcourt for what they need...Russ & KD provide more than enough offense.

Kanter was historically bad on defense last season...

@ArashMarkazi: Austin Rivers signs a two-year deal to return to the Clippers. https://t.co/4ENiOx0Tl8

Now I really don't know why Jamal is still here. Austin Had a very solid postseason. Think he found a role in the NBA last season. Tough cover when he plays downhill
i don't think clippers got any good trade offers for Crawford. Very hard for a declining player who is a 35

They tryna look competitive for KD so he don't bolt to the Wiz next year.

I'm already knowing man. There's very few positives at this point. I just wish we would find a way to get rid of him :lol we literally have no use, and imo are better without him

I like Kanter but I feel the same way, Ibaka/Adams is definitely better for OKC, there's too much evidence that Kanter hurts more than he helps.

I think they should've let him walk too. Offensively he's nice to have but you can't be a bigman and be that big of a liability on defense. It's unacceptable.

"Offense wins games, but defense wins championships."

Man JC saved yall so many times over that last couple years now u got no use for him?

He still is better than Rivers at age 35

Love JC but it's very apparent his good days are over. Why don't you think anyone is trying to get him from the clips? Good teammate. Last year of a very cheap deal. He's done. Would be ecstatic if we traded him for size.

:rollin Dude started out with "I'll repeat...."
He must be tweeting some NT'ers

Of course OKC matched..... as they should have

1) shows Russ/KD that they are willing to pay the luxury in order to win now...
2) since when does having a 23 yr old legit 7ft center who can give you 20 & 10 any given night hurt? he may be bad on defense but he provides a guy who can dominate a smaller Center in the post offensively & draw fouls
3) if Adams develops even more making Kanter expendable... its not gonna be hard to trade a good offensive center wh hasnt hit his prime yet... they can get back some nice assets for a guy like Kanter

This is overblown. He really hasn't and the few times that he's saved us is outnumbered by the amount of times he's killed us with his poor defense, hijacking of the offense, and long jumpers. He was almost unplayable this past postseason man.

You almost can't play him because he needs the ball to be "effective" and isn't good enough to have that much of a responsibility within the offense anymore. And all of that is second to how bad he is defensively. If you are trying win a championship he can't be a key cog in the rotation.

Rivers is better for the clippers moving forward. Younger, can actually get to the rim, and is a good spot up shooter

Kanters deal will make sense when KD leaves.
How many people here truly think KD is gonna leave? I don't think he has it in him. We talmbout the type of ***** who refers to his opposition as "Mr"

Now Russ I could see bolting. Russ got that Mamba blood in him, he cut from a different cloth.

It's not about keeping Kanter for production it's about not letting as asset walk for nothing.

Extra cap space isn't exactly nothing. But I get what you're saying.

They over the cap pretty much with him or without him.

They aren't gaining or losing either way

If he doesn't work out he's easily tradable

This and kanter can score in the post something both them dudes can't. They can try to hide him on defense when he is on the floor

Clipper role players will always get slandered

Barnes, Collison, Dudley, Crawford, Caron Butler... the list goes on. Nobody ever been good enough to get them past the 2nd round
