It is what it is though. I really just take whatever comes to us but this was the on player, out of every draft I've watched, that I actually truly wanted and felt like we needed. Russell is gonna be that guy and being that he would've fit our team perfectly makes the loss even tougher.

No, it's really not fair. Y'all wanna win championships and dominate the conference for damn near you entire existence. The ONE time in three decades you suck you wanna jump my team and steal our player and all of a sudden you got a franchise PG, a top ten pick PF, Kobe, a sleeper 2nd round stud, and probably a top 5 PF in FA and it took all of 2 ******* seasons.
Meanwhile the sixers haven't been **** in over 10 years and weren't going to be for another 3-4 IF we were able to get Russell and you stole that. 10 ******* years since AI left. You know who the guy was in Philly for the better part of the last decade was? ANDRE IGUODALA. That was out best player. Perennial 8th seeds and now mainstay bottom dwellers.
