The 2015 NBA Draft Thread: Draft Day Is Here

Don't think I can remember the last 18 YO draftee that was an SG at 242, that moves like Stanley Johnson. Wade was 212 and 6'4 when he was drafted, Stanley is only 18, 6'6 242 and still quick

Already got some vet size on him, if he keeps his work ethic up... he might be nice

Do they have the money this offseason to sign Jordan 8o
Lakers should have between $22-23M in cap space if they keep their lotto pick and decline Hill's option.

The centers in free agency this summer after Gasol and Jordan isn't shabby. Chandler, Hibbert, Lopez brothers, Asik, Koufos.

I wonder how Portland's cap is ?

If they sign LMA can they afford Lopez long term with Dame and Meyers deals coming up?
their owner is one of the richest people in the world so in theory they should have no problem doing so.

I've never seen a franchise gifted so much and make such bad decisions.

If you think about it, the Cavs have only drafted well when there's a unanimous 1st overall.

Lebron and Kyrie.

Everything else, meh.
was kyrie really the unanimous pick that year?

I mean it wasn't the greatest draft.. but I remember at the time there were a ton of questions since he only started a handful of games at duke.. also think it was seen as a weak draft

Kyrie was the pick, it was between him and Derrick Williams. There was of course some murmurs of Williams but most likely smoke screens

Kyrie was. Besides looking really good on the court, the advanced stats backed him up too. There was talk of taking Williams #1 and Kemba/Knight at #4 too, but that was just looking at all the options on the table.
