Josh Smith is low key one of the biggest waste of potential in the league.
If he ever cared about being efficient, he coulda been a guy that could guard 3 positions, elite athleticism, can pass and post smaller guys.
He would rather shoot contested step back 3's though.

The problem with pro athletes taking that next step is usually above the shoulders. That can include decision making and IQ in-game as well as dedication and work ethic off the court

Was hoping he'd bounce back a bit under SVG, but it looks like Smith is still regressing. I don't think there's anyone in the league who badly misses jumpers more often than him.
