Golden State (136), scored more than Houston Rockets (69) and Rockets (65) combined.

and because AD is a defensive beast
He is not a defensive beast.  He's an incredible off the ball shot blocker. But one on one he's food for a lot of bigs
hes not DPOY levels or anything but he provides elite rim protection that all teams need, he still needs to work on post defense but even then he has a way bigger defensive impact than steph curry ever will
But Opponents are shooting 57% at the rim against Davis. Not exactly protecting the rim.

As much libel as I read regarding Hibbert, he is still a phenomenal rim protector (38%, leading the league). Dwight, of course, is among the best at 41%.

is that all layups/shots in the paint vs him or when he's guarding someone 1v1 in the paint/at the rim?

Rim protection is defined as the defender being within five feet of the basket and within five feet of the offensive player attempting the shot.
Still early in the season. This may end up being his worst 8-game stretch of the season

I've just been checking out the nba player tracking page and that was one of the things that stood out to me.

good looks, i would think just by his block numbers that there are a lot of shots that he doesnt block but still causes a miss. but yeah, 57% is by no means great so its something he has to work on

The NBA season so far has been horrible in my estimation.

-  The quality of play has been down, notably due key players suffering from injuries.

-  Major market teams suck, Knicks, Lakers, Boston.

-  Overall skill level has diminished tremendously, fans who witnessed the transition from Magic and Bird to Jordan and now LeBron, notice the overall drop off of talent in this league. Players who would not be a twelfth man on any team during Jordan's era, are now being considered key players in roles coming off the bench.

- Other than LeBron, Durant who hasn't played this year, Chicago when Rose is healthy, Clippers and the Warriors, what player or team does anyone really look forward to coming to town anymore, in order to go to a game?

Jalen Rose been saying Steve was about them checks for a good 2 years lol...dude don't care at all

It's keep getting them cheques not all about them cheques

I do think he cared last year trying to come back but after all the attempts he gave up entering this year

Lakers fan six rows behind the scorer's table screams at Westbrook: "Russ, come to L.A.!!" Russ starts shaking his head no.

Fan: "You can shoot all you want. Come to L.A. We got rings." Westbrook: "Get yo *** out of here and go back to L.A."

Welp! Anyways I have Russy in New York..or even Brooklyn. Dude off the court could become a fashion GAWD!

Everybody is now coming out against the Lakers Russy/Love, if Durant does then what? Over pay young guys that are restricted to rebuild?

On the low, it ain't just the Lakers they are coming out against.

They are Hollywood, tinseltown, cap space, history, all of that used to have people running to be there.

It ain't happening these days, even with an aging vet.

not enjoying all of these close Ls.. seriously, 8 losses and you got: clippers by 3 (7 healthy players), grizz by 2, pistons in OT and now last night

What were you expecting Russ to say? :lol If that was Lebron a year ago, and a Cavs fan asked him to go back to Cle, do you think he'll say yes? :lol

That is a false dilemma, because Westbrook has never played for Los Angeles.
