I doubt it'll be Randle. Scott is adament he "learn" from Boozer and "earn" his minutes.

Nerlens will be the best rookie, Jabari will win the award.

You don't get ROY awards for playing defense.

Hope you guys are right about Nerlens Noel. I'm being patient with his health and offense.

Warren's game just feels pro ready. His offensive impact will be immediate with the minutes, to the tune of 12 PPG if not more.

I think if Dougie McBuckets would get the minutes, the award would be is...I think Doug is capable of getting 16 ppg off the bat and if the Bulls are 50+ wins I think he'd would get the advantage. But I just don't see Thibs giving him the minutes even though I'm confident he's better than Dunleavy at this point.

Noel absolutly stinks on the offensive end of the ball. :x

I really think he's going to get it. The impact will be too hard to ignore

You dont need to be skilled to catch it and dunk it though.

You do when the floor not spread. And they have no shooters. Lane gonna be clogged the whole game, and he's too light down there to stay on the block. SO then what, you ISO him and tell him to go get a bucket? Not happening, that team is sad outside of MCW.

So playing defense makes you the best rookie?

When such a large portion of the league ( I would personally say its more than a third) acts like defense isnt a thing, and the defensive impact of bigs is much much greater than that of a wing I would say so.

He's 20 and wasn't projected as being the next dominant offensive center with a complete post game. He's going to be your defensive anchor and has the physical tools and instincts to be that game-changing defensive player.

And most likely given the choice between a 20 PPG Jabari rookie season vs. Nerlens getting 10 points but a ton of blocks and rebounds, they'll go with Jabari.

Nerlens will be similar to Larry Sanders minus the injuries and off-court antics

I just don't like the kids game, I thought he was terrible with Cal and i think he will be terrible in the league.

Question...is his ceiling Larry Sanders or better?

Nearly a double double and 4.4 blocks a game is terrible?

You can have your doubts about his offensive capabilities, but what makes you think he'll be terrible in the league on the defensive end?

Hard to say, I've watched him a lot in summer league, and he is just RAW. Tries to block every shot, he's going to get in foul trouble and have some turnovers this year as he gets used to ref calling. He has a baby hook that he is working on but it's still in development. Some of the big boys are going to push him around for a bit until he puts on some weight.

I think he will be good on the D end. I just don't like his game, I don't see him ever avg double figures. I know he's young, and he can grow. I just don't like him on the basketball court.
