Believe he only got a 3rd-4th round grade

Well, think about that though, a lot of the TE's go in the 3-4 range, and that's fine imo.  Even with all the sudden success of the position this year, all those guys were all 2-3-4th rounders.  Jimmy, Gronk, Hernandez, 3-2-4.

This year, Allen, Fleener, Charles, Paulsen, the other 2 Stanford kids if they came out, Smelley, Egnew, I would be fine with any of these guys in the 3-4 range.  6-5, 6-6 TE's with hands are growing on trees now or something, they're everywhere.  Even that Fauria kid at UCLA, isn't he like 6-8 with decent hands?  Son of a former NFL TE, etc etc.  This position is going to be loaded in the NFL in 2 years.  Even after Gonzalez and Gates hang em up.

Least, I think so.

Yeah but there's no sense in coming out and being a 3rd/4th rounder (Unless you really need the money) when you can come back and potentially be a 1st/2nd rounder the next year. That's all I was saying. I'm sure he could be productive, but w/ the new rookie scale you have to maximize your 1st contract since they're getting smaller.

Ryan Tannehill will likely require surgery to repair a fractured 5th metatarsal in his foot. Would be out for Combine.

EDIT:

ShawnZobel_DHQ Shawn Zobel

With T.J. McDonald, Robert Lester & Ray Ray Armstrong all returning to school, this will be one of the worst safety classes in recent memory

ShawnZobel_DHQ Shawn Zobel

I'd expect Mark Barron to be drafted earlier than expected due to the supply/demand, being that he's the only elite prospect at the position

%@% is this #$%$ lolol.

I would MUCH rather take a CB either Claiborne or Kirkpatrick then waste such a high pick on this clown.  (i haven't really seen him play only watched highlights so i am making gross generalizations.  But he isn't very high on anyone's board to warrant a 6th overall pick)

Well scratch Tannenhill off the list of possible candidates at #6 (thank God), cuz he's hurt.

If Griffin isn't there, Shanahan should wait til the 2nd round to draft a QB. Use the 1st rounder to either get more picks or get a DB.

How does Eric Paige project?

And how good is Mark Barron? I know he's definitely not in the Eric Berry class of Safety.

Tyler Wilson is getting feelers from the NFL, he's losing his best receivers to the draft, so he's thinking about maybe coming out.  Dolphin fans are already salivating saying we should take him at 8/9.

Dre/Gunna, is Tyler Wilson a solid pro prospect?  Top 10 worthy, etc?   I spent the whole year lookin at Luck, Bark, Jones, RG, Tannehill, then Weeden popped up and never paid any attention at all to Wilson.

I mean, I guess if Gabbert and Ponder and Locker can be top 12 picks, but will Wilson play like what I saw from Gabbert this year?

Cancel that, Wilson staying at Arkansas for his senior year.

I'm actually glad for that.  2013 QB class shaping up real nice, take one next year instead of maybe reaching this year.

I agree.  Shore up another position then come back and get a QB next year.  For some reason I really want Claiborne, although I don't see him dropping to 8/9.  Our secondary needs shaping up.  Wish there was a top-10 safety worth drafting.

There's 3 teams in front of us that have no #1 receiver, but one of those picks is definitely going to be RG3, another will be Kalil, so it really comes down to what the Browns do IMO. I think the 3 options for them is take RG3 if he's there, or take Richardson or Blackmon. The Rams I see either trading back with a team like the ********, or taking Kalil. Vikings will take either Kalil or Claiborne, but Blackmon's still a possibility. Claiborne better be damn good if we're taking a corner with the #5, that's all I know.

You could add Logan Thomas to this list as well IF he makes a big leap.  Though I know he'd be best fit to stay 2 years, just sayin he could come out.

Chase Ford.

See that Arky guy comment on his measurables?  6-6 260, wingspan and hands, he's a Graham clone.  Give him a QB like what Graham got, he might actually make a career.  Put him on the Jets with Sanchez, and RIP his career.

Landry probably won't help his stock. He's only going to be a solid choice if you ask me. Nothing special.
Keith Price is only a Junior next year, but his stock will continue to rise after that bowl game.
