that green outsoled air trainer is CRAZY. i have a shot of a red/orange pair ill post up below. im counting atleast 4 releases of that orginial chlorophyll color in the late 8-s/early 90s alone. what a crazy era to be alive
I dont remember posting these as awhole. If i did infact do so in this thread, let me know. i hate posting doubles.
anyways here are some catalogt shots.
Im not real sure on the year and season/ late 80s/early 90s on this first set. i have larger orginial photos but they really dont provide much more detail:
-i love the red/orange outsoled air trainer high.
-the top air model is the "top quality" premium model. the last two models that just say CROSS trainer without the Air are the cheaper quality models. I guess even back then they wanted to make models affortable for everyone but keeping the same style in tact

heres some random stuff:
-sample catalog photo:
-magazine ad featuring many classics. the two air trainer models are the sample shoes that became IMPOSSIBLE to create. they were too technical in their design. The front gray toe part in turn was forced to go through the entire front of the shoe. The 2004 firsttake air trainer low model and the zoom trainer 1 mid model feature:

some wallpapers of Tinker's orginial air trainer sketch. this was too technical in design at the time to produce. but was produced in its originial fashion in 2004 during the restoration project:
-the finished 2004 product, botton left:
-a revised edition which basically became with release air trainer
found these on sneaker.fr forums awhile back:
also found this the sneakerfreak.fr forums. credit to the orginial photographer:
