Spotted these today... Think the BW is turning into my retro of the moment... Not as nice as those flipped persians posted in the retro thread however. I'mseriously hoping their gonna drop. Would liked to have seen a little more colour on these but still fresh...

over the weekend....
these came in today ($150 shipped for both)....love the AM1's cause i've been trying to locate a clean pair for awhile and i got them for a greatprice...but i'm VERY excited about the 98's! i love this shoe so much! i've never seen this colorway before and the pics the seller had were crappyand showed no color so i had no idea what the colorway was until i got them....anyone have some info? the production date is "00-05-07"...came withthe OG box too. seriously tho.....nike really needs to retro this model asap.

Mayhem, those AM98s gave me a nosebleed and may or may not have also caused me to uhh...release other fluids

Jran, those BWs remind me of the Pippens that came out using those same colors (white, black, purple) and also reminded me of the Jordan XI...nice to see Niketake things back by using colorways that were common in the mid-to-late '90s (white and black with another color as an accent)

AM FAM - sorry, this may not be the place for this, and these aren't exactly air max... anyway, just won this auction on eBay and these kicks are on theway. seller might even be an NTer, I don't know. he sold a pair of size 11 recently for $75, I just got these 11.5's shipped for $54. I waswodnering if anybody knew anything about them, I cannot find info anywhere. they are supposedly 1995 windrunners, and they look to be made for USA Track &Field, maybe for the 96 Olympics? are they rare? the uppoer looks like a mix of burst and tailwind and the sole from the pics looks a little like that of aspiridon. DS from 95, are they OK to wear? any info is appreciated. thanks!

denverairforce, those shoes *may* be wearable but I would look out for separation of the sole from the rest of the shoe. The midsole looks very sturdy(it's just a guess on my part) but since these shoes are 12-14 years old, the glue holding the shoe together has likely dried up in spots, so you may haveto re-apply glue in some spots. Otherwise, they are a good-looking shoe and have a level of quality that hasn't been shown in nearly any Nike releaseduring the past five+ years.
But as far as I know, those were made for the U.S. Track & Field team and were also made to commemorate the 1996 Olympics.

is there any particular kind of glue I should use if I do that? I would assume any glue that doesn't dry hard... anyway, thanks for the info. i feel like Igot a pretty good deal on these, and the usa oly colors are one of my favorite cw's, so I hope I can wear 'em!

Great pick up on those USA T&F's denverairforce... Lovely looking shoe. I'm with Brian... Sure they were part of a series of shoes commemoratingthe upcoming Atlanta Olympics. There were also BW's and a '96 triax in the USA CW. Nice piece of history...

thanks guys.... i gotta get my AM game up before i put in a app. to the AMFAM.. i havent been able to buy kicks lately because im trying to buy a house... themarket is way too good right now to not try... there is a pair of infrared 90's on that auction site in a 11... i cant tell what is fake or not...

saw this on a hypebeast blog site, some sample am1's i thought looked interesting, never seen them before. i wonder if the grey is 3m. i always had aaddiction for yellow and gray on a shoe. anyways once again not my shoes!

Would look better without the print... look like customs more so than samples as well, and if they really are samples I hope it doesn't move into massproduction

I like the colors on those samples, it the safari print was just solid yellow or the blue they would be sick.

Reason I've been pretty much MIA the past week, mom got in an accident on her motor-scooter. NINETY SIX YEAR OLD WOMAN hit her. Lady said she didn'teven see her. Broken ankle, pelvis and tailbone. She's recovering from surgery well though and in good spirits.
Picture of her helmet I took, obviously it wasn't her head that got hurt (because of this helmet thank God) but you can see obvious road rash.
Hope all FAM members are well.
